"Oh jeez Tikki! I'm late again! I'm surely gonna go to detention for this one!" Marinette said to Tikki as she was running to school
"Marinette, you should really take your academic-responsibilities as a full priority!" Tikki sighed
"Tikki, come on, Adrien's midnight photo shoot was on live yesterday! I couldn't not watch it!" Marinette sighed as she daydreamed about Adrien, the perfect boy for her, the ONLY boy for her.

As she was thinking about the perfect blonde, she had bumped into somebody

"Agh! Jeez!" She dropped to the ground
"Sorry!" She apologized without looking at him
"It's alright." The boy said. Marinette looked up to see the face of this teenager who looked exactly like Chat Noir
She couldn't help but stare at him. In fact, 10 seconds of awkwardly trying to say something just ended up in the worst scenario any teenage girl would ever imagine

"Hey there.." the boy winked

"He kinda looks like.....Chat Noir....." Marinette mumbled under her breath
"Can I have your number?" He flirted
"So you are Chat Noir." Marinette sighed and rolled her eyes. Realizing what she had just said, she immediately covered her big blabber mouth while blushing profusely

"I heard you." He smirked
"...what?"
"You said I'm Chat Noir." He continued
"No I didn't!" Marinette tried to cover up her embarrassment
"I guess that makes you my Ladybug?" He let out his smile that looked exactly like the signature Chat Noir smile

Marinette then heard the school bell ring

"Shh! Let's talk later okay? Even better, let's not talk at all!" Marinette wagged her finger before booking it to her classroom
"What a weirdo.." The love stricken male teenager blushed as he scratched the back of is head

Marinette entered her classroom, sneaking in to make it seem as if she was there the whole time. Before inevitably tripping on her shoe laces
"Marinette Dupain Cheng!" The teacher pointed at the poor clumsy Marinette on the floor "Please come to school earlier next time! I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to send you to detention after class."
"Y-yes ma'am....." Marinette sighed, picking herself up from the floor.
The pitiful bluenette was so embarrassed since she was just scolded in front of the love of her life, Adrien Agreste! She looked down as she walked to her seat, beside her ombré-haired friend, Alya Ceisare
"Marinette, what's the reason why you're late this time?" Alya whispered to her bluenette friend
"There was this boy who just decided to flirt with me outside the school gate!" Marinette retorted
"Well please take your time to come to school instead of flirting back?" Alya teased
"I was not!"

"Marinette and Alya! Pay attention!"
"Yes teacher..." they both obediently replied

After class, Marinette had to head to detention
"Sorry Mari" Alya hugged her friend "I hope you're okay walking home alone today..."
"Yeah, it's alright Alya. I'll see you tomorrow..."

Marinette slowly walked into the detention room, completely out of it.
She then saw the boy that had just flirted with her earlier (and was the reason of her doom) in the detention room
They met eye to eye and the confused boy nearly fell of his chair when he saw her. He quickly picked himself up and acted as if nothing happened
"Yo." He calmly noted
"Ugh." Marinette slouched as she walked to a desk. She looked at the board which had a phrase written in capital letters "BE QUIET AND LEARN YOUR LESSON!"

"So what did you get in trouble for?" The same boy asked
"Being late. FYI, because of YOU!" She scolded him
"Hey! I'm in the detention room too y'know?" He rolled his eyes, feeling threatened by the powerful bluenette
"What did you get into detention for?" She crossed her arms
"Uh..well..." the boy was conflicted if he should tell Marinette. He was actually in detention for correcting his science teacher, but he couldn't tell her that, that he was a bit of a dork. He already gave off this bad-boy persona to her, he couldn't change that anymore! He needed to act cool..
"G-graffiti!" He lied
"So you're that type of guy...." Marinette shook her head
The boy started to regret what he said
||"I should've told her he truth"|| he thought to himself

The rest of the 2 hours in detention was quiet. The boy thinking of how he could explain to his mother why he was out so late, and Marinette thinking about Adrien (as always).
After the 2 torturous hours in detention, a teacher came in and set them free.

As the 2 teenagers headed out, the boy caught up to Marinette
"Soo...what's your name miss?" He asked politely
"Oh, so now you're acting so pure in front of me. I already know about your rebellious persona! Lay off!" Marinette snarled confidently as she continued to walk off
"I will lay off" he stood in front of Marinette, preventing her from going even further "If you tell me your name."
"Ugh. Fine." Marinette rolled her eyes "Marinette. Marinette Dupain-Cheng"
"Great! Thanks~!" He was about to stroll off before Marinette interrupted him
"Y'know, when somebody tells you there name, you're supposed to say your name back." She crossed her arms
The boy simply smiled, looking back at her "Chad. Chad Leblanc." he then strolled off
"Hey pretty." He stopped and called out, which made Marinette stop as well "Do you have a crush?"
Marinette simply smiled confidently "Yes." She flew off like a 'Ladybug'

Marinette went back home and up to her room, feeling this odd vibe coming from this boy named Chad Leblanc. He acted exactly like Chat Noir, her partner, her kitty in crime
"Hey Tikki." Marinette nudged her kwami "Do you think the guy from earlier, Chad Leblanc, could be Chat Noir?"
Tikki, with full extensive knowledge of who Chat Noir's identity was after fighting Dark Owl, simply shrugged her shoulders. Internally, she was screaming "AdrienAdrienAdrienAdrienAdrienAdrien"

"I guess we'll just have to find out." Marinette murmured to herself."
