The One

Hello guys.

This is my first story. I hope you like it(:

Chapter 1

-Maybe we should move her to the couch.

Hmm. A familiar voice. It definitely seemed familiar. And I wanted to see who it was but I was too sleepy and my head hurt.

-Ok let me help you.

When I felt a hand upon my tummy, my eyes immediately flicked open. The lights were blinding. I was lying on an uncomforable flat surface.

-Of course stomach is her weak spot. How can you forget about this James?

Leo's voice. Leo was my best friend since the first day of kidergarten when he offered me some of his sandwich which had peanut butter in it which I was allergic to but I thought it would be rude to say no, so I accepted it anyway. Later that day, I was taken to the hospital because of my allergy. I stayed at the hospital all night and Leo waited beside me. And since then, we're best friends.

"What are you doing? Where am I? And can you please turn that fucking light off? It hurts my eyes like fuck." I spoke.

I heard Leo sigh.

-There she goes again. Always pissed off when she wakes up.

"Maybe this time it's our fault Leo. I mean I fucking touched her stomach" said James.

When they turned the light off I was able to look at my surrondings. The only light in the room was the moonlight from the open window but it was enough. I immediately recognised Leo's house. The couch we used to jump on when we were little until her mum caught us and got mad at us. The bookshelf full of books we read together. The table I had many meals on. And there I was, lying on the floor. I must passed out on the floor after the.....

The events from last night hit me.

There had been a big party. Here at Leo's house. Of course, his parents were out of town for a meeting. They were both psychiatrists and they usually went to these meetings out of town. And Leo had an idea this time. To throw a party! So creative right???

I remember dancing around the pool and Leo telling me not to drink too much. And then I remember having vodka shots with Jake and a bunch of other people. What happened after that is not something I can remember.

I looked at James and Leo.

"Ok Laura now that you're awake it's time you get your lazy ass here and help us clean this mess up." said James.

Leo held his hand out for me and I hold it and tried to get up. But I immediately fell down again.

"If you ever drink this much again, I swear I will not speak to you ever again. Ok? And what have I told you by the pool?" Leo started complaining.

Ugh can't he shut up already?

"Leo, you'll get mad at me later ok? Right now I just want to get some sleep." I told him.

"Hm okay then" he said.

Then he bent down and lifted me up and gently placed me on the couch. Then he pulled a blanket over me.

What a nice friend he is sometimes. I smiled at him.

"Thank you Leo bear." I said.

He chuckled and kissed my cheek. After that, I fell asleep.

I woke up to the most beautiful sound on earth. Leo singing.

I yawned and Leo looked at me from the kitchen counter. He was in a white bath robe. He must just got out of the shower. His wet brown hair was messy. When he flashed me a smile showing his white teeth, his brown eyes shined. Those beautiful brown eyes I always envied.
