My name is Alice Beham and this is my story. It all started at the end of my freshman year. I was fourteen and in two months about to be fifteen. It's was June and I woke up with the most painful headache. It was like a drill going into my head, but when stood up it was a shot of pain rushed thought my whole body. I walked to my bathroom every step I felt more pain. I called my mom and she said "you're just stressed". I didn't feel stressed, she rubbed my forehead and gave me some medication. I fell asleep think I feel better when I wake up. When I woke up I was in even worse pain. I called my mom again and she felt my head and I had a fever she said. She took me to the doctor the next day and the doctor said just get some rest and take some medicine that he prescribed. The next morning I was feeling a little better, I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. As I was walking out I feel to the floor not able to feel my feet. I yelled and screamed for my mom, she came running in and saw me and called me an ambulance. As I was rushed to the hospital I couldn't help but think about everything that was wrong with me. I thought I was going to die. The doctor ordered a cats scan and showed I had stage 3 brain cancer. My heart sank, I couldn't believe that I had brain cancer. My mom started to cry and couldn't help but join her, she grabbed my hand and said everything going to be okay. I tried to believe her but I just couldn't.
