Hi. My name is Kaye and to be completely honest i have an extremely boring personality. I like reading books especially ya ones (like everybody else) and one of my guilty pleasures is watching adam sandler's rom coms because i find them freaking adorable even if they are pretty much the most predictable movies you'll ever be able to watch. I play the guitar (not very good though) and i have my own anonymous blog called stars in the sky where i talk about things that not a lot of people find very interesting but who cares i enjoy writing. :)
school isnt very fun for me. 7 classes everyday which are each an hour long except for pe which makes me go through 30 minutes more of running around a hot gym in extremely hideous and may i say the most unflattering shorts ive ever see. (why world) The only good thing about going to school is writing for my school newspaper and i rarely even get any of my articles in an issue so that sucks. oh i forgot, maria's pretty cool too. Maria is my best friend in school and when i say best friend i mean the only decent person in school who doesnt just endlessly talk about her crush. Tomorrow is my first day of second year (10th grade) and im transferring to marino high but at least maria is too. truthfully, im not very excited, why would i be?
the next day I get to school and the first thing i notice is maria's hair no not maria. maria's hair. she dyed it purple and cut it short. "mar whats with your hair? what happened?!" i say shocked. "hey maria ive missed you so much! how was your summer? good? mine was too. youre looking great!" maria replied annoyed with what i said. "woooow. sorry. how rude of me. hey maria ive missed you so much! how was your summer? good? mine was too youre looking great!" i replied with a sarcastic tone in my voice. "Thanks kaye." mar muttered. " Okay im sorry but seriously. WHAT IS WITH YO--" i said before being interrupted by the bell. "Bye kaye! i'll talk to you later okay?" What a way to stat my first day i thought to myself.
I had mrs robin for homeroom and on my schedule it had said i was assigned to room 307 so i looked for room 307. it took me about 10 minutes to find the room so about half way through finding it i started to run. bad desicion. when i finally found room 307 i pushed the door open and everyone stared at me i was so tired that i couled feel drops of sweat fall from my face. "he-hey. uhm im kaye sykes," i said taking a deep breathe. "sorry im late i kinda got lost." i continued. "late on your first day huh miss sykes. take a seat." mrs robin said seemingly annoyed. i sat down and she started to talk about how a new year should inspire us to be new people and i didnt really care so i didnt listen. after an hour long lecture about things that wont matter probably ever to me, i heard the sound of the school bell ring. i ran out and saw mar. she glanced my way and started to walk fast. i chased her until the end of the hall and hit her arm out of frustration/ "why are you running from me mar!?" i shouted."BECAUSE KAYE DONT YOU GET IT!? I DONT WANNA TALK TO YOU." she shouted back at me furious. "WOW MARIA WHAT THE HELL DID I DO TO YOU!? IF IT'S ABOUT YOUR HAIR THEN IM SORRY I WAS JUST A LITTLE SHOCKED OK" i screamed."IT'S NOT ABOUT MY STUPID HAIR KAYE. I JUST DONT WANNA TALK TO YOU RIGHT NOW ok just please leave me alone. she said calming downa little. FINE. ugh. when it was time for me to go back home i decide to walk so i could have some time alone since it's pretty hard to have some when you have 2 incrediblt over protective parents and 5 other sisters. i start walking when it starts to rain i run to bus stop and notice a guy behind me. "excuse me do you know where marino high is?" the guy says once we get under the roof of the bus stop. " uhm. youre going the wrong way. just turn around and turn left at the end. you'll be able to see it from there," i said. "oh. thank you," he said with a smile, he has really nice teeth i thought to my self only i didnt say it in my mind i said it out loud right in his face.
