First Day of School

Riley and I walked to school from 7:00. It's our own tradition. We walked to Mr. Matthews class and got in our usual seats. Class starts for the first 5 minutes when...

"Excuse me, is this Mr. Matthews classroom. I'm the new student Lucas Friar."

"Well, you're late but since you're new I'll let it slide."

I looked back and saw Riley making google eyes at him. I saw how embarrassed he looked with her just staring when Mr. Matthews walked up and readjusted her head.

I saw that he had made a 'Thank god face'. I just silently laughed to myself.

Then for a weird reason he started looking at me.

I just turned away and blushed. He frowned.

By the time class finished he came towards me.
