Mine

Group project

The large college stood before me, it was.. Very fancy. Though I should have expected that from a rich college. I'm surprised I got a full scholarship because i'm really not that smart.

I walk inside the big double doors and navigate my ways through the halls, searching for my classroom. "142 A" I muttered to myself, looking down every now and then.

Finally I find the classroom and walk inside, as soon as I stepped in a loud bell goes off. I sigh in relief knowing that I wasn't late. I rush over to a seat in front of two girls.

The professor's eyes scan the room taking a look at his students. "I know its only the first day but I will be assigning a group project so you can get to know each other better."

Everyone groaned as he called out the groups. "Sarah, Sami, and Ami will be group 1." I hear my name and and walk up to the front as for two other girls.

As I look at one of them, my heart almost stops. 'She's beautiful..' I thought to myself as I stared at her, only to be interrupted by the other girl.

"Hey! Stop looking at my girlfriend that way!" The girl on the right told me with anger in her voice. 'Girlfriend?!' I thought to myself.

Then, she spoke up. "Hey don't be like that Ami..! Its alright, my name is Sami, Sarah right?" She asks me. "Uhhh, yes..!" She reaches out to shake my hand.

I reach out my hand and we shake our hands.          'So soft..' She lets go. "Uhm, should we go to the library to start?" I nod and follow her there since she seems to know where she is going.

When we arrive Sami picks out a spot for us to sit. Me and Ami sit down as Sami walks off to get supplies. "Stay away from her." Ami says.

I give off an 'I'm innocent' act and stare at her with a confused face. "Don't give me that look! I know you like her, she is mine! Got that?" Ami suddenly recoils in her seat realizing Sami is back.

"Be nice to her will you!" Ami looks at her ashamed. "Its alright, i'm used to being discriminated against" I point to my horns and tail. "Wha- She was saying racist things?!" I realize she didn't hear her but only a tiny bit. "Yeah.. It's fine-" I was cut off. "I didn't say anything racist and you know that!"

Sami stares at her, possibly not believing her. "Uhh, like I said, its fine.. How about we go see a movie tonight, the college is closing soon.." Sami lights up. "Oh I- We would love to!" A smirk grows on my face.

"Great.. Lets meet there at 7pm, we will see the purge." Sami looks even happier, I guess she really likes horror. "Awesome!! We will see you there!"

Sami grabs Ami's hand and runs off with her, she looks very happy. They give off no sign they are dating, maybe they are just trying to hide it? Whatever it is I will find out soon.
