On a peaceful day in a far away land lies a small village of demonkins (demon like creatures). A young demon named Iban was picking various herbs and berries on top of the Sacred mountain for his sick little sister. She suffered from an incurable disease which unabled her to walk and caused her unbearable pain from her hips to the tip of her toes. The caring brother would brew potions daily to relieve her pain, even if it is was just by a little.
He was carrying out his daily mission when he spotted smoke coming from the village's direction. He rushed towards the smoke's direction, leaving everything he had collected behind, but when he came out of the woods leading to the village; he was horrified by what he was witnessing. The whole village was engulfed in flame, corps full of arrows and sword wounds were laying everywhere. Iban ran desperately towards his house hoping his family did not meet the same dreadful end as the others, he hoped they were still alive even if he knew the chances were slim.
