I moan once more as I get fed another set of pills that taste of something rancid ; I can never quite put my finger on the taste. Adrian , the old man who kidnapped me 4 years ago and who continuously gives me strange pills that make me drowsy is now breathing down my neck ; his breath has a strong stench of alcohol . As his breath gets more intense he whispers "eat the damn pills nova" . The volume of the whispering increases to shouting . The unnerving screams of Adrian drive me to swallowing the last pill . The effects have already kicked in , all I see is blur .I'm not even able to.....
My eyes slowly open . I'm sat in the back of a car . I can't see who's driving as my vision is still playing up from the pills but I know it's not Adrian . I can hear voices , low secretive voices .
"Blaze we need to get her as far away as possible before Adrian notices " a low gentle voice murmurs in the distance .
"Around 100 miles away there is a safe house , he won't be able to find us in there . Nova will be in the same year as you at school , you need to stick with her at all times no matter what . If you notice anything suspicious you tell me , ok Leo ?" Blaze demands in a deep husky voice mutters

As I wake up I feel at ease. I finally don't wake up to the stench of mould , a hard infested mattress , a set off pills beside me and an old man named Adrian staring me down. Instead I wake up to a fresh mattress , clean pillows , a pot of tea beside me and no one staring me down. Around me I see a radiator , an alarm , a wardrobe filled with clean new clothes , a mirror and so much more . On my radiator lays a set of pajamas. I stumble out of my double bed and approach the balmy radiator. I put the warm , cream pajamas around my bruised , damaged body , it makes me feel contented . I pour myself a tea and totter into what I can make out as a kitchen . I run my hands along the marble table tops and I hear a door open , it startles me .
"Uhhh hey ... I'm Leo you don't know me but um hi.." Leo nervously splutters
Leo is drop dead gorgeous. His hair is a somber coal and his eyes are a luminous shade of green .I could get lost in his eyes , it was as though his eyes held the world , my soul . I look away as it makes me shy; it wasn't like me to get shy. I can feel my cheeks burning .
"O-ohh heyy Leo um can you tell me um why I'm doing here . W-w-where am I " I hesitantly inquire.
