"Got everything packed" Dad asks, as I am dragging my now very heavy blue case down the stairs. I respond with a nod and he takes the case of me and throws it into the boot of the car. Whilst Dad is closing the boot door I jump into the front seat. I take one last glance at the house I was born and raised in as Dad locks the front door for the last time. "This is gonna be a long 2 hour drive." I mumble and then everything goes black.
I wake up to someone poking my cheek. Looking up I see my dad staring down at me with a smile on his face. "We're here baby girl. Promise me you'll be good?. Dad says as he takes of his seatbelt. "I promise I'll be good and won't be an embarrassment to you I'm just going to be normal self and see where it takes me."
"I know you won't be an embarrassment to me baby girl it's just that this is a new change in our life and I want you to be just as happy as I am." He sighs looking down at his feet.
"Daddy" I chuckled grabbing his hand "Listen the way you talk about this Karen lady shows me how much she means to you. All i want for you is to be happy because if you're happy then I'm happy." I smile at him. We both get out of the car and grab our cases.and walk up to the front door.
I stand beside my Dad as he rings the doorbell. The door quickly opens and a beautiful lady around his age with blonde bobbed hair and glowing dark green eyes quickly lunges herself towards him whilst his hands wrap around her waist. To be honest she has an AMAZING figure for her age!!
"I've missed you so much and I'm so glad you're here" she mumbles into his shoulder before the two of them pull away and they both look at me. "Hello love I'm Karen and you must be Eleanor it's such a pleasure to meet you." Karen says extending her hand out for me to shake which i gladly except. "The pleasure is all mine Karen it's nice to meet the women that my dad never shuts up about." I laughed looking at dad while he just stands there blushing like crazy. "God Phill you where right she is a beautiful and sweet girl." Karen says stepping aside to let my dad and I inside.
"Nathan and Jess are both upstairs please wait in the sitting room and i will call them both down" Karen explains to me while rushing out of the room with dad. I look around the room and quickly fix my hair infront of the mirror. Then a girl with blonde hair just like myself and green eyes just like her mother walks into the room. "Hello there you must be Eleanor I'm Jess." she says while pulling me into a hug. I laugh at her cuteness and we both begin having a conversation but both get interupted when a boy around my age with piercing dark green eyes, brown hair styled in a quiff and a cheeky grin plastered on his face is leaning on the door frame and clears his throat. "Hello love I'm Nathan and I'm guessing you are Eleanor." he tells me while walking over and wraps his arms around my waist pulling me into a hug. I was a bit shocked at his movements but the feelings escelated quickly.
"Let me help you with your bag and I'll show you your room." he says while grabbing my case and rushing upstairs. We both walk into a room with cream coloured walls, a queen sized bed, walk-in wardrobe and crystal chandelier. "Your room is next door to mines and you have a bathroom in here to. Your dad told us that you prefer cozy rooms and like your privacy" he says while leaving my case on the bed.
"Wanna a cuppa?" Nathans says while walking to the door and turning back to look at me.
"Yeah that would be great thanks." I reply as he walks out the door. I sit on the bed and just take a couple of moments to let this new life sink in. It has been a very long time since Dad has found a new love again. Last time he was in love was when he was with mom but sadly she left us both for a new man but took my older sister and brother with her because she despised me for some reason. Don't ask why but she just did. I begin unpacking, hanging my clothes in the wardrobe and putting a few ornaments just to decorate it. Once it's done i let out a long sigh and lie on the bed.
I hope things just stay as good as they are right now...
