Maggie laid in her kennel, covering her face with her tail. She heard the door to the corridor open. "We would preferably like a dog who is trained to help with PTSD, a large breed." I heard someone say.

"Well, the only one I suggest is Maggie. She helped a marine calm down from a PTSD induced panic attack last week. He was going to adopt her, but on his way here, he died in a car accident. She is about 2 years old and is shy, but curious. She is a husky as well." The owner of the shelter said.

I poked my head out of my tail slightly, covering my nose, but not my eyes. I peered out at the people walking closer to my gate. "She looks like she is going to eat us. I don't want her, Pepper." A guy with a goatee said.

"Tony, you are getting this dog because she is the most experienced here, she needs a home, she can't stay here or she will be killed, and she is most likely to die of starvation because they don't feed her enough. You are getting this dog, Tony, and that is finale!" Pepper yelled at Tony.
