I'm not new to this site, but this is the very first thing I'm posting on here.
First off: Catapult is a song by Arctic Monkeys, released as a b-side to the Cornerstone single, which is a part of the album, Humbug.
This being said, this whole story is inspired by it! Most of the songs from that era tell stories, and this song is one of them.
I always felt like the lyrics to Catapult talk about a lad who's shook (and shocked) over a man who's so attractive he doesn't know if he admires or if he desires him. So here's poor Oliver, put to think twice about his sexuality.
Don't slap me in the face.
