to introduce myself, i'm lily. i've lived in west virginia my whole life and i'm a senior in high school. i love the aesthetic of all lowercase letters much to the dismay of english teachers everywhere.
i'm writing this poetry book for my senior project. i wanted to do something i could put my soul into and here we are.
i'd like to say that these poems come directly from my heart and that they are very personal. some will tackle uncomfortable topics.
poetry is a way for me to express my feelings in a healthy way and i ask you to not judge some of the things you'll read in this book.
