I'm proud of you.
I'm proud that you put yourself out there
I'm proud that you are no longer the kid I grew up with.
I'm proud that you found yourself a career and you dare to do what you dream
I'm proud that when life gets tough you roll it, light it, inhale the noise, and exhale the silence
I'm proud that you wanna cuff someone but keep your guard up
I'm proud that you became what your parents did not
I'm proud that you weren't afraid to be what they're afraid of
I'm proud of you and I love you
I will always love you
No matter what leaves I'm staying by you side until you lose faith in our bond
Regardless of we went separate ways
The ways chose us before we chose them
Here we are though it's not there was another way to get here
