The episode opens with a shot of the sun. Dipper starts to narrate. "Ah, summer break." Then we turn to Hank grilling burgers while Shmipper and Smabble are running around and laughing beside him. Others sit at a picnic table. "So you want cheese on that, hon?" "Sure, Hank." "A time for leisure, recreation, and taking 'er easy." When then turn to the "Welcome to Gravity Falls" sign. "Unless you're me." Mabel and Dipper Pines crash through the "Welcome to Gravity Falls" sign with the Mystery Cart, screaming. They are being chased by an unknown monster, which is knocking down trees. Mabel Pines Looks back "It's getting closer!" The monster tries to catch the cart but just falls short. The cart flies off a rock and lands roughly. "My name is Dipper. The girl about to puke is my sister Mabel, and the guy shooting at the creature like a madman is Y/N who works at our great uncle Stan's mystery shack. You may be wondering what we're doing in a golf cart, fleeing from a creature of unimaginable horror?" The monster throws a tree in their path. "Look out!" The image freezes with You, Mabel and Dipper screaming as they run into the screen. "Rest assured, there's a perfectly logical explanation." Cut to theme song. Cut back to Dipper and Mabel in the golf cart. "Let's rewind." We then Flashback to Dipper and Mabel in their living room at home "It all began when our parents decided we could use some fresh air. They shipped us up north to a sleepy town called Gravity Falls, Oregon, to stay at our great-uncle's place in the woods." It was a hot summer evening in the sleepy town called Gravity Falls. For You however, it was just another day at work at the Mystery Shack, our in the hot sun pushing the push-mower in straight lines across the lawn of the shack. As You were almost done, You turned in the direction of the front yard of the shack where You noticed two of his work partners and personal best friends (technically only best friends) Wendy Corduroy and Soos Ramirez coming out and waving at him. "Oh hey Wendy ! Soos!" You stopped the push-mower as they walked to him "Y/N, sup dog !" Said Soos "Whaddup dude." Said Wendy "Guys? What's going on? Is it lunch break already?" You Asked "Oh, uh, Mr. Pines actually told us to tell you that we need to prepare for when his great niece and nephew come to stay at the shack for the summer." Said Soos "Which means we get to call off work early, man !" Said Wendy "Ah, finally..." You sighed letting go of the push-mower and sipping the sweat from his forehead, but then widened his eyes and looked back up "Wait, Mr. Pines has a niece and nephew?" "Yeah I know right? I mean the dude never brings up his family before until now." Said Wendy "Well then again he is an old timer, he's like, what ? 68 years old? He's bound to forget certain at that age." You said "Yep, that sounds about right. Though I think he's pushing 70 about now." Said Wendy "Aw cmon dudes, maybe he just has a bit of a family feud ? His family's past seems to be really complicated." Said Soos "Yeah, or maybe they realized how much of a hoax all his attractions are!" Said Wendy chuckled "Ooooh!" You high fived Wendy when Stan opened the front door to the shack "Hey ! You three ! Hurry and get back inside and finish cleaning ! I want this place to look spotless for when the kids get here!" Said Stan as he went back in the shack "Well, guess we have more work to do till they arrive." "So, new tourists huh? Pray their last names aren't Gleeful." You said to yourself walking inside and grabbing a ham and cheese sandwich you made in advance for lunch. After you cooled off and were no longer a sweating mess, and of course made sure you did your part and clean up the mystery hack- I mean mystery shack, you sat down on the porch of the shack and dismissed your lunch. "Not now, Gompers." You said pushing Gompers' nose away as he was trying to eat your food. Then, the bus arrived. You didn't know it then, but that day two people would arrive to Gravity Falls and your life would change in a big way.

"Huba huba! Guys, check that out !" "Schmebulock?" "Yes! She will be ours, our queen !" Jeff the gnome said by a bush watching them, who then hissed and darted back into forest along with gnome colony "Go on you fun-sized pedophiles !" You shouted swatting your towel at them, as you were the first thing the twins noticed, as You stared at them awkwardly. "......Oh! You must be my boss' niece and nephew right? It's Mason and Mabel Pines, right?" You asked stepping forward "That...would be us. Oh and It's Dipper actually." Said Dipper as the two of you shook hands "So listen your uncle sent me here to pick you guys up, we'll be heading towards his goofy fun nitnack now." "Nitnack house?" Asked Dipper "Oooh that totally sounds like a safe place where we won't encounter any crazy mysteries like finding out our Great uncle is actually our great uncle Stanley who we thought was died 30 years ago!" "Pfft, cmon Mabel nothing like that could happen!" Said Dipper

"Welp, here's your new rooms. In the attic. for the summer." You said As Mabel started hanging up posters. "This attic is amazing. Check out all my splinters!" Mabel Holds up her hands, which have gigantic splinters sticking out of them Dipper Backs up into his bed, which Gompers is on; not narrating. "And there's a goat on my bed." "Hey, friend." Mabel Holds out her arm, and Gompers chews on her sleeve "Oh! Yes, you can keep chewing on my sweater." Mabel laughs "My sister tended to look on the bright side of things." Cut to Mabel rolling down a hill of grass. "Yay! Grass!" A woodpecker pecks on Dipper's hat. "But I was having a hard time getting used to our new surroundings." Stan Pines Jumps out at him wearing a mask "Boo!" "Ah!" Dipper Falls over Stan Takes his mask off "Ahahahaha! Hahaha!" "And then there was our Great Uncle Stan." As Stan slaps his knee "That guy." Stan Coughs several times and hits his chest "It was worth it." Cut to Stan leading tourists through the Mystery Shack. (Our uncle had transformed his house into a tourist trap he called "The Mystery Shack." The real mystery was why anyone came.) The Jackalope's antler breaks off. "Ladies and gentlemen, behold! The Sascrotch!" Said Stan to a Sasquatch wearing underwear. Tourists start speaking excitedly, and snap pictures. Cut to Dipper sweeping the wooden floor with a broom. Mabel is looking at stuff. "Ooh!" Maybe Reaches for a large eyeball Stan Slaps her hand with his 8-ball cane "No touching the merchandise!" Cut to Soos driving the Mystery Cart to the Mystery Shack. "It looked like it was gonna be the same, boring routine all summer. Until one fateful day..."
