Darkness.

That's the first thing I remember, seeing the dark walls of my egg. I squeaked and placed my tiny claws on the shell, trying to break it. I saw a tiny crack of light and got excited. I pressed harder, and the walls gave way. I tumbled out, head over tail. I squeaked again, and looked up at the massive figure standing over me. It was all white, with gold things around its middle. It had green eyes.

"Hello little one," it said to me. It had a weird accent. "My name is Arceus." He had a kind feeling to him, but I knew he wasn't my father. We looked different. My parents were sitting a few feet away, they were red and blue wolves. I stumbled over and laid down. Momma put her paws around me. I squeaked, knowing that my life would be good.
