The green haired mage felt as his stomach flipped and turned inside of him. Clamming up and churning. Making the male feel a not sick. His head felt light, a huge migraine hanging in his head, sending shocks of pain though his whole body. Dark bags drooping under his crystal hues, standing out against his pale skin. Visibly noticeable the runes mage wasn't feeling to hyped. It was probably just the constant thought that ran through his mind for every second, for the past week. Just the mere idea of confessing his feelings to Laxus was making him sleep deprived. Unable to fall asleep at night, instead trying to drink his problems away. While the day was suffering. Everywhere was a napping place, and a place to complain about the huge hangover he had. Freed let a small groan leave his chap lips, rubbing the bridge of his nose. Shutting his eyes really tight, as if the small deed would make all his problems go away. He couldn't decide if or when he would tell his life long crush he liked him, a lot. But, instead of just coming out or staying shut forever, his mind decided to be bipolar. Confident one moment and shy the next. He was acting like a girl during her special week. Moody, tired, and bipolar. Some of the simplest of thoughts kept him for admitting his feelings or even being brave enough. The pale man groaned again, but this time louder. The noise came from the depths of his throat, a grumble sounded added in. Slightly in a whiny tone, as if he was asking for it to just happen. Resting the palm of his hand onto his cheek, elbow on the wooden table. The laughter that rang through the guild hall wasn't helping the beating in his head; as if a sledge hammer was being slammed into his head repeatedly. Lightly massaging his tempels, having to deal with the sound of annoying laughs filling his ears. The smell of alcohol made his stomach flip even more, not even wanting to smell it anymore. The guild wasn't such a 'happy' place anymore. "Mira-chan! Bloody Marry!" The runes mage muttered out, his voice kinda raspy, trying not to talk so loud, so he wouldn't hurt his own head. Even more than everyone was already doing. Of course it didn't take long for the white-blonde haired demon to serve him his drink. Without a word the mage walked away, having to serve more tables and clean more glasses. Sipping on his drink. Fruit juice, aka V8 Juice, and a shot of Vodka. Always cures hangovers. As the liquid filled his mouth the taste roamed his taste buds, the unsatisfying drink hard to take down, the taste wasn't all to great. What was even worse was the after taste, the disgusting drink still lingering around in his mouth. Freed sighed as he backed away from the straw, swirling the single celery stick, swishing the liquid around. Blue orbs glancing around the room, dully scanning everyone. A bored and pained expression hanging on his face, already starting off the day in a grumpy mood. Bixlow ans Evergreen didn't dare talk to the green haired male, already learning their mistake way to many times, messing with the powerful demon while he was hung over. Thats when rules were broken, and people got hurt. Even thought anybody who passed by could tell that he wasn't his normal self. Everything very out of order. Freed's green silky hair wasn't brushed completely, strands sticking out of his normal perfect low pony-tail. His cowlicks seemed like they stuck out more. The one eye was still overed, the only one visible looked miserable. Such a dull glare sitting in his hues, not a single shine. Hollow; empty; emotionless. Freed was sorta living on the inside, forgetting to take care of his personal and physical appearance. Only able to think about the blond haired lightning dragon slayer. Fighting with himself about telling him or not. Giving himself a million reasons why he shouldn't, and a million reasons why he should. Thing like, what if he didn't like him back, then what, or, but he couldn't keep shut and be miserable forever. But was it worth it if Laxus didn't share his feelings, having each others presence be a nuisance, uncomfortable with even going on missions with one another, with their other team mates. So much could go wrong, but at the same time he didn't wan't this small little secrete to eat him live. The thought was eating away at his mind, driving him to the point of insanity. But their was so much thinking involved. How would he tell him. When, where, and worst of all, what he would say. "Oi." The one voice he didn't want to hear was filling his ears, already sensing the presence of his leader behind him. Ignoring what he had said as if he'd never heard. The mage just taking a large gulp of the orangish red liquid. "Come." Laxus didn't talk much, only when needed. Other wise he'd use one word sentences and commands. It was like he was scared to waste his breath. Sadly, and no matter what, the rune's caption always obeyed his Lightning God, quickly stepping away from his table, following further behind than usual; normally he might have well been on top of him. Now that the mage has stood you could tell his clothes weren't properly out on right, turned off to one side, like he got dressed half asleep in the dark. It didn't take long till the older male lead the two where he wished to go. Not far from the guild at all, but a quiet place he could talk with the leader of the Rajinshuu. "Something's up." Was all he mumbled. Orange orbs glaring suspiciously at the smaller man. Laxus may have seemed like a heartless block of stone but he was soft inside. Always able to tell when one of his team mates was feeling down or acting different. Instead of leaving it alone he would pressure you into saying what was going on; only so he could help in any way possible. Freed just glanced off to the side, the hard stare from his leader was uncomfortable. Feeling his eyes burn into him, hating the pressure that came along with the glare. "Uhh, n-nothing, just stressed-" it wasn't entirely a lie, the green haired mage was stressed and couldn't deny it. The word might as well have been written across his forehead, giving it off bluntly. The dragon slayer didn't even need to talk, his facial expressions reading everything; as long as you knew them all. He indicated that he wanted him to elaborate, stretch out his small truth into the whole truth; or at least a little more. "W-well I've been worried about something, and a bit, uhg, bipolar? And wasn't sure if I should do something. But- I'm fine." He figured it would be good enough, knowing he'd have to say more than a little bit to get his God pleased, but of course he had to be a stubborn one. Sprawled across his features was a dumb found look. Anybody could tell he that was part of the reason. Oh no, this time he wanted a full answer. The whole big fat juicy truth. "Freed Justine, are you disobeying your leader by keeping a secret?" His voice was higher, the tone scarcastic. The dragon slayer's lips forming into a smirk, knowing he'd caught the runes mage there. No way on hell would he break the rule made by Laxus. Freed sucked on his teeth, afraid to say what wanted so. Fiddling with the hem on his coat, his fingers playing with the edge of the corner. Crystal orbs staring at the ground, a light blemish spread across his face. "I- uh..." It was embarrassing. Stuttering, all of his words jumbled up, unable to come out in a clear sentance. Not even knowing what he would exactly say. "I just, ugh, like someone?" It came out more as a question than a statement. The tone in his voice showed he was confused with his 'confession', part of it true, most of it a lie. Not considerably a lie, but it was just a small crush, it was love. It wasn't someone, no, it was the one and only Laxus Dreyar. Of course curiosity kills everyone, even if they couldn't admit it. The lightning slayer listening closely, curious to hear who it was, even though it didn't show. "Does it happen," Laxus began, his voice turning deeper; husky. Taking a step closer to the green haired male, a smirk dancing upon his lips. A low chuckle in the back of his throat, placing two fingers under the others chin, making Freed look him straight in the eyes. "To be no one other than myself?" Laxus's question was answered without any words. The runes mage looking at the ground again, a deep blush covering his pale cheeks. "Heh." Was all he heard before a pair of lips were placed onto his. Nothing like the soft passionate kiss he dreamed of. Something much much better.
