Steady your featFor the beat beneath
Is something not easily beat
I struggle sometimes
Within my own thought
Who would have thought
That a mind so strange
Would be plagued by a world that appears so plain
The struggle I feel
It isn't unreal
But to find someone
Who would also become
The someone who would help me overcome
The pain inside
The white and the black
Faded to nothingness
Not even touching the life I see
Afraid in the dark of the light so bright
How to approach
How do I coach
The most and boast
But the question I ask is
How do I beat the beat beneath
How do I slay something I can't see
But it merely laughs as I oversee
The flaw that happens to only be me
Sometimes I wonder what my place is
It feels like nothing, if this is all there is
