Reunited

I put on my white, oversized hoodie. I pulled on some black leggings and white flats. I flipped my hood on with a heavy sigh. 

Adrian rejected me on Friday and now it's a Monday, I have to see him again. I really don't want to. But apparently I have to go to school. Weird, huh? 

Let's get this day over with.

At school I shuffle inside and I'm early for once. I hit something, or someone. I see Chloe. Oh no. Wait! She looks so sad! 

"Were you rejected too?" She asked . 

I nodded. 

"Same." 

We walk in and sit by each other to be sad together. 😿 Everyone is shocked that we aren't pulling each other's hair out. We stick together all day. Adrian didn't talk or look at us. He didn't talk to Alya. Only Nino. Alya and Nino tried to talk to me but I was too sad and depressed to. Sabrina had some failed attempts with Chloe. After school Chloe came to my house. We were getting along. 

Suddenly she talks. 

"I'm so sorry Mari!"

"Huh?" I was so confused. 

"I was a jerk to you. We promised to never let anyone ruin our friendship. And we failed. I failed. I let a boy get in the way of our friendship. You were my best friend. I miss that so much. Can we... can we be friends again?" 

 "Only if we're Best Friends again. " 

"Yes! Ohmygod thank you Mari!" 

"It's nothing Chloe. I missed you. I think my parents did too. Wanna stay the night? " 

Chloe nodded enthusiastically. It's nice to have my best friend back. 

We painted our nails and picked out our outfits for tomorrow and planed our hair.
