I couldn't sleep as always. I've had insomnia ever since I was 7, I'm 16 now and only seemed to have gotten worse. And just like the insomnia, the bullying has gotten worse as well. Since the adoption center manager decided I might be better off in a school with snobby girls and assigned dorms other than the public school that everyone else is attending.
It seems the only sane person is my friend Rose. I don't want to admit it but, I've had a crush on her from the first day I looked at her. She's the only person I can trust here. She's sweet, kind, pretty, shy, and anything else you'd see in a perfect girl.
She has gorgeous shiny brown hair, bright blue eyes, a small button nose, and small lips. Not to mention she's short too... makes her even cuter. I'm a bit of the opposite. I have a dark purple and blue hair, brown eyes, a bit on the bigger sized of nose, and medium sized lips.
If anyone in the school found out about how I pretend to be straight... I know damn well I'd be the laughing stock of the school. There's like a 2% chance they won't but I don't know what goes on in their tiny brains.
