°The one where lily
meets the dobrik family

                  "Do i really have to?" the alvares girl gripped the seatbelt across her body to prevent david from dragging her out the car and introduce her to his family. "Yes, you have to. now quit being a pussy and get out of the car" the frustrated slovak said to his best friend

Lily did not know why david was so adamant on introducing her to his family— like she gets that she's his best friend and he wants her to get close to his family and she wants that too vice versa but what she don't get is that why does it have to be now? it's not like she was going anywhere

you sure about that bitch?  her mind interrupted

You might be wondering where's jason and the others, well they took an early flight back to los angeles for they have important stuff to do aka they do not want to get in the middle of whatever mess the dobrik boy and the alvares girl are in but they did wish lily a goodluck before they left which made the female brunette even more nervous.

"okay okay fine, just wait." lily said after successfully removing her arm from david's grasp "are you sure i have to do this?" she asked again for the millionth time

david was so close to punching himself in the face or just bashing his head against the pavement in frustration, he doesn't get why the alvares girl was so nervous and scared to meet his family— it's not like she hasn't talked to them before on a call, does she really not want to meet them? "do you not want to meet them is that it?" david spoke after catching his breath

the alvares girl saw the slight hurt pass through david's eyes and frown starting to form on his face to which lily reacted by getting out of the car and standing right in front of the dobrik boy "it's not that, you know it isn't dave" she spoke trying to pick the brown curly hair fallen on david's face

"then what is it?" david asked trying to ignore how fast his heart is racing by lily's small actions

lily sighed softly and rested her hand on david's shoulder "i'm just scared, okay?"

"scared? why are you-"

"because what if they don't like me? or they only like the version of me that they see on your vlogs and the internet and when they meet me in person they get disappointed. David, i don't wanna disappoint your family"

The dobrik boy looked at lily incredulously, he can't quite grasp how the idea of his family hating lily ever got into her head. He loved her, he's proud to call her his best friend and if he appreciates her then so will his family— he's positive about that "lil you can never disappoint anyone especially my family. Look they haven't even met you but when i told them you were coming with me to chicago they were excited, especially toby— way too excited for my liking but you know" he laughed at the end of his sentence but he couldn't be more serious about what he said

"if i love you then so will they" he spoke slowly looking lily right in the eyes, her gorgeous brown eyes

After taking in all david said, lily took a deep breath and nodded "okay"

David grinned and grabbed lily's hand and pulled her toward his childhood home, the very house he grew up in. He didn't even bother to knock and just waltz right in with lily following shortly behind him, looking around as they entered the house.

David was greeted by a young boy who lily assumed to be toby, he looks just like in the pictures om david's home but slightly older, she smiled at the younger dobrik sibling and waved at him "hi!" to which toby responded with looking down quickly and blushing "he's got a crush on you" david teased
