Ava Jones was your ordinary unpopular girl. She had a few nerdy looking friends, smart and had a massive crush on the most popular boy, Jackson. Although she admired Jackson she never had the chance to speak to him, probably because he was popular, good looking and way out of her league, but that never stopped Ava's huge crush on him. He was also off limits. He had a girlfriend, Melissa. The prettiest girl at school, who hated Ava. She had no reason to hate her she just did.
Ava's friends always tried to encourage her to stop crushing on Jackson but she never listened. Her best friend (Cindy) hated Jackson. She knew he wasn't right for Ava. Jackson had a habit of taking the piss out of Ava and Cindy and all their friends. This also didn't stop Ava's crush on him. They all knew nothing would change Ava's mind about Jackson unless she found a boyfriend but that would NEVER happen as Ava was known as the nerd of the school, even nerdier that Ned, the captain of the chess and arithmetics club!!
