you woke up to darkness, complete darkness.

your head was pounding and spinning.

you lifted your dominant arm only to find the other follow.

you quickly discovered your hands were tied.

you touched your forehead, feeling a sticky substance.

soon voices echoed through the cave.

a torch coming towards the sort of cell.

-"murphy.." you mumbled as your vision blurred.

-"the girl is up!" a voice announced.

you tried to stand up, which was unsuccessful since you fell back down.

you whimpered in pain, not remembering what happened.

a large figure walked toward you.

you looked up at the figure, you shook your head.

-"please.." your voice shook, "please don't hurt me." you begged.

-"don't hurt you?" the figure squatted down, "i won't hurt you, all you have to do it tell me all about your little camp."

the stranger caressed your cheek.

you flinched away.

-"camp..?" you tried to understand what he was saying.

memories started to flood through.

the 100 teenagers that came down to earth, you being one of them.

you shook your head.

visuals of the grounders being a threat, flooded through your mind.

you looked up at the figure that squatted over you.

he had a sort of paint over his face.

-"grounder.." you realised.

-"that's right." the grounder stood, nodding his head.

-"now, tell me everything and i'll let you go." he said, taking out his knife.

images of your friends ran through your head.

the memory of murphy being banished from camp ran through your head.

you realised you were caught while trying to find and help murphy.

you shook your head, closing your eyes.

-"no." you stated, back pressed against the wall.

-"no?" he asked, as if he didn't hear you.

-"no!" you shouted, making it more clearer.

he smirked, playing with his knife.

he bent down, putting the knife to your throat.

-"you wanna try that again?" he asked, putting it closer.

you shook your head.

-"all i want is information." he stated, lightly running the knife along your throat.

-"over my dead body." you spat in his face.

he wiped his face and chuckled.

-"you're going to regret that."

right after he said that he was on the floor, unconscious.

-"what are you doing? run!" a familiar voice ordered you.

-"murphy?" she asked.

-"[y/n]?"

you ran up and hugged him.

-"oh man, i never thought i'd be glad to see you." you joked.

he shook his head and chuckled.

-"we have to go, before they get us." he encouraged, pushing you out of the cave.

-"let's go." he whispered running towards the forest.

you followed closely behind.

-"how do you know where we're going?" you asked.

-"i don't, just come on, i have a feeling." he started running, you once again followed.

you started getting exhausted very quickly.

-"murphy." you tried to catch your breath.

-"what? what's wrong?" he asked.

your head started to spin like before.

-"i can't." you sighed almost passing out.

murphy caught you.

-"come on [y/n], we're almost there." he looked at the touches outside of the camp.

you nodded and decided to try and walk to the camp, murphy helping you.

you felt warm liquid roll down your nose.

murphy started to breathe heavier.

you touched the liquid seeing it was blood.

you wiped the blood away.

you couldn't hold it anymore.

you collapsed onto the ground and darkness consumes you.

you woke up to voices.

-"... you need to rest."

-"i'll rest when i know she's okay." a familiar stubborn voice stated.

you opened your eyes seeing you were in the dropship.

you started to sit up.

-"woah, woah, lay down." someone pushed you down.

you had a good look at the person.

-"murphy?" you wrapped your arms around him.

he smiled hugging you back.

-"what's going on?" you asked looking around at the bloodied teenagers.

-"we made it to camp," he started coughing,

you frowned your eyebrows.

-"that doesn't explain why everyone looks like their dying." you whispered, watching the teenagers.

he sighed.

-"the grounders used us as an attack on our own people." he said, sort of avoiding eye contact.

-"we may have carried a sickness, causing everyone to throw up blood." he told you.

it went silent as you sat on the makeshift hammock.

murphy sat down next to you.

-"i'm sorry." murphy whispered.

you looked up at his pale face.

he looked down at you.

but frowned his eyebrows when his eyes caught your neck.

-"did they hurt you?" he asked.

he took a hold of your face.

you shook your head.

-"no, just wanted information. i told him no, he didn't really like that answer." you looked down.

-"it's not going to happen again." his eyes stared into yours.

you smiled and nodded.

he wrapped his arms around your body and kissed your forehead.

-"murphy," clarke sighed, shaking her head.

-"everyone's supposed to be quarantined." she crossed her arms over her chest.

-"so they don't get more sick." she raised an eyebrow.

-"too late." he smiled before kissing your forehead again.
