Circling my Achilles' heel -
round and round I go.
I try not to be tempted,
but it’s what I dream and know.
I hate this fragile feeling -
overshadowing me.
It may be something feeble,
but it just won’t let me be.
Maybe I just lack the strength
and sense to overcome.
This force that I’m drawn into -
will have me ‘til I’m done.
My weakness will consume me,
that’s just how it goes.
Is there a cure for this disease?
