Olivias' pov:

BEEP BEEP BEEP
I slam my hand down on my irritating alarm clock in an attempt to turn it off. Once it stops I sigh at the realisation today is the first day of school. I am in my final year of secondary school and I am taking English History and Music for A level.

I slipped out of bed and changed into my clothes for the day before heading downstairs for breakfast. I made my own breakfast as I was home alone because my parents go to work about an hour and a half away so they leave super early in the morning.

Look at my surroundings whilst eating breakfast and spot a note on the side it read:

Hi honey,
Dad and I are working till about 7pm and the new neighbour is coming round for dinner at about 8pm. Also don't forget to take your pills.
Xx Mum

I Finnish up breakfast and put my dishes in the dish washer and look at the time 7:40am... CRAP I am so late! I grab my school bag and sprint to school.

After running I make it in to my first class of the day luckily the teacher isn't hear yet. None of my friends are in this class so I just take a seat soon I begin to fall a sleep.

Mr Mendes' pov:

I walk along the corridor and see a student run into my new classroom. Not paying attention to what I was doing I accidentally drop all the things in my hands. After a few minutes I managed to collect myself together before entering the classroom. The first thing that catches my attention is a sleeping student that was the same person that ran into my classroom less than five minutes ago how in hell did she fall asleep so fast?

I gently put my stuff on the desk and grab a big book of the shelf. I see all the students watching me and sign for them to be quite some of them smirk others just giggle quietly as they begin to understand what I am about to do. I walk over to the sleeping girl and harshly slam the book down on the desk, she jumps about a foot in the air and the class falls into fits of laughter. The girl looks completely and utterly mortified. And so she should thinking she could sleep in my class. So I begin question her:

"So miss..." I say waiting for her to tell me her name.
" Markall, Olivia Markall" she replys shyly.
"So miss Markall YOU THINK IT IS APPROPRIATE TO SLEEP IN MY CLASS?" I question shouting the last part startling her and the rest of the class. Tears begin to for in her eyes and I have no sympathy at least now she won't sleep in my class again.

"No I am sorry it would happen again but.."
I interrupt her before she can finish "No buts unless you have a really really good reason as to why you were sleeping. Do u have a good one?" I tell making the tears spill down her cheeks.
" I am so sorry sir i have narcolepsy and I forgot to take my pills this morning as I was in a rush. " she says pulling a orange tube out of her bag with pills labelled :

My face immediately softens and a wave of guilt rushes over me when I realise it wasn't her fault she couldn't help it.
"Oh I am so sorry miss Markell I didn't reali.." But before I could finish my sentence I see she is falling asleep again and I rush to her before she falls off the chair.

When my hand comes into contact with her skin electricity shoots through it and as I get the chance to really take a look at her realise she is truly beautiful. Wait no what am I talking about she is my student. I quickly turn my attention to the class and ask if they know what to do some shook their heads and others mutter a quiet no. So I picked her up bridal style and told the class to behave whilst I took her down to the nurses office.

I dropped her off and told the nurse what had happened. She assured me she is in good hand and I could return to my class. Olivia didn't return to the class today but during the rest of the lesson she was all I could think about. Hopefully I will see her tomorrow?
