When the diamonds and almost all the gems went to Earth to celebrate the return of Pink Diamond, Meanwhile, one gem was left in the diamond castle, a slave. She figured the she would clean the basement for her "masters". When cleaning, she saw a ray of light in the corner of the room. A bubble with a gem inside, because of curiosity she popped it and a gem appeared. She gasped and saw that the unknown gem's gem was cracked and had a weird big cloud around her eyes for no one can see her identity.
The unknown gem said "I am the mighty Black Diamond. Are you the one who popped my bubble?"
The slave said "Y-Yes, I'm the one who set you free".
"You need to help me and I will set you free at once from this horrible experience." Black Diamond said.
"Yes my master, but, what is your command?" The slave said.
"You need to help me find someone who can heal my broken gem." Black Diamond said.
"Like the famous, Steven Universe?". The slave said.
"Yes, find this Steven Universe of yours and I will set you free" Black Diamond said.
That is when the quest of the new villain of the Steven Universe movie began.
