The cold wind blows on a summer's day,
The storm clouds rolling in on the month of May.
Dusk settled while the crow fly,
And the mother's cry,
For today they lost their innocence.

The water fell in icy drops,
The dead man snaps from the short drop,
The church bells chime on a hallowed eve,
While only the lone woman grieves.
For today she lost her innocence.

Lighting filled skies, and the thunder roared
All the while the heavens poured
And the crows took flight
For the little child said goodnight.
