Jenny: Because I like being by myself, go away
April: No one likes being by themselves
April sits besides her
April: My names april!
Jenny: April? Like the month?
April: Yea-
Jenny: That's stupid.
April: you think so? I like my name. Because easter is in April and I love chocolate haha
Jenny: I still don't like it.
April: Well what's you're name?
Jenny: I'm not telling you! I just met you!
April: Why do you have to be so mean? I just wanna be friends
Jenna: I don't want fRiEnDs!
April: Do you not have any?
Jenna turns away
Jenny: no..
April: can I ask to be your friend again? Pretty pleaseeeee?
Jenny: Fine, only this once. Pinky promise.
April: I promise.
They both hook their pinkies together.
April: so since we're friends, can you tell me your name?
Jenny: ..fine. It's Jenny..
April: Jenny? That's a pretty name!
Jenny: wh- what? It's not pretty, it's cool!
April: okay! Fine it's cool then.
Jenny: do you have friends? Other friends?
April: um.. not really. People like to make fun of me.
Jenny: hey! People make fun of me too!
April: really? But you're so cool.
Jenny: really? You think so?
April: of course!
Jenny gets flustered
Jenny: my mum and my sisters.. they're not nice to me. They all think I'm a crybaby. But I'm not a cry baby? But.. why would anyone be mean to you, April?
April: I don't really know. They say all kinds of mean things to me. But they're all silly.
Jenny: heck yea they all! They're all stupid!
April: yea! They're all stupid idiots!
The two start giggling and making childish jokes.
April: do you think I could come to your house tomorrow?
Jenny: my house? No you wouldn't want to come to my house.
April: why not?
Jenny: because my sisters are idiots! And my house is all cold and stuff.
April: well what about my house?
Jenny: really? I don't get invited to girls houses.
April: thats so silly, I think you're so cool!
They both start to giggle innocently.
Jenny: I'm sure my mummy would let me come over.
April: what about your dad? My dad is super strict and stuff.
Jenny looks down.
Jenny: I don't really.. well I don't know my daddy. He left mummy when I was a baby.
April: oh..
Jenny: but it doesn't matter. I'm all okay.
April: well, at least you have your mummy. I love my mummy.
Jenny looks down again.
Jenny: so I'll meet you right here after schools done?
April: yep! I'll see you then!
Jenny: okay, bye April!
