LIFE IN THE YEAR THREE THOUSAND
Everything is advanced in the year three thousand. From houses to sink's faucet, from cars to everything that we can name. It seems as though dreams came into reality. Living in the year three thousand, no one had expected. No one knew that even this was possible. Technologies had made great progress. For instance, there was no lift anymore, instead, there was a teleporting center-that could transfer you on whatever floor you want in a matter of seconds. It felt so unreal, so dream-like to be true. Everything that people had strived for in the earlier centuries had shown its result. People didn't stop and didn't put a hault to their struggles, instead they now strived for something even more better, something even more huge and something that could open their doors for further discoveries, inventions etc. But the one thing that didn't change and could NEVER change was the society in which we've been living in. The stupid rules, customs and traditions...were still being followed.
One would have thought that by the progress of everything, maybe, just maybe the typical thinking of society might have changed. But, oh no, they were so wrong.
People used to seem more hypocrite than ever, more liars then the one who spoke truth. No one raised their voice when they saw injustice....society NEVER changed.

Katherine, 24-year old women having long hazel hair and deep-ocean blue eyes. Her eyes held so much desires and ambitions that if one , by mistake took a look in those eyes, they would drown in them. Katherine was not like your ordinary woman, typically working at hope. She was much more than that. She was the most wanted graphic designer. People begged her to do their work, to work for them.
On the other hand there was her husband, Lucus Mathew. Who was no far less then her. He had green eyes and an awesome physique . He loved Katherine dearly, he loved her like there was no tomorrow. All he had was his wonderful wife.
They both got married after completing their studies and when they both had a job AND when they couldn't afford to stay away from each other anymore. Everyone everywhere shipped this couple but many as well cursed them as they were jealous-jealous that they wouldn't find anyone who could love them like this.
Every end of the day, Lucus and Katherine would discuss all of their worries and tensions.
''I'm working on this amazing project and Sania is now my secretary.'' Katherine exclaimed happily.
Sania was a robot a robot that felt so real. Only thing that is missing and different from humans is that robots don't have feelings.
Lucus smiled at her, happy for her success and listened to whatever she said very interestingly although he had no idea what she's talking about. As, he was in a different field. All he could make out of the whole thing was that she is ''programming '' or ''building'' some sort of game or a website that would bring a huge revolution.
''You see!!! If I get this thing right, this world will change Lucus! Every God damn thing will change!''
''That's awesome babe.''

Day by day, Katherine got more involved into her project. She would often stay up late or even didn't come home for day. As a result, Lucus was getting tired of being alone, he started thinking that he is nothing but a source for Katherine to pass her time with.
While on the other hand side, Katherine was very happy that her husband was supporting her through this. She was almost done with the project but she had to re-check, in-case for something that she had done wrong.
It was not Katherine's fault that Lucus was thinking like this, it was his own inferiority complex. His friends played a major role in this, they made him realize that he was her husband for name and that he had no dominancy over her. They even told him things about Katherine that wasn't true and Lucus being stupid believed them instead of his wife.

''OMG! YES!!! FINALLYYYYY!" Katherine screamed in joy and hugged Lucus who was standing beside her in her office. Lucus didn't reciprocate her hug back, but stood still.
''I finally did it!'' Katherine said breaking the hug.
Katherine thought that he would be gleaming with pride but ..his face said nothing – it was blank.
''Lucus, are you alright?" Katherine said, placing a hand over his forehead to check if he was having a fever, but Lucus yanked her hand away. She was shocked, she didn't know what was going on.
Before Katherine could process anything, lucus grumpily walked away without saying anything.
''Lucus, what's wrong?"
''Lucus? LUCUS!''
''WHAT?!'' He turned around with blood shot eyes and veins bulging in his neck.
Katherine shrieked back in horror, totally unaware of the situation.
They fought a lot that night. Katherine was hurt, more then she had ever been. She couldn't imagine that it was her Lucus who was saying these horrible things to her. It felt as if he was speaking others mind, what others have been thinking of her. It felt as if he didn't had his own opinions.
They both were having a heated fight when Lucus barged into her work room and destroyed the USB. The USB in which her project was saved, the project that could change millions of lives and could change there's to.
The moment Katherine entered the room and saw USB in half she couldn't utter a word. Her eyes were wide, she kept blinking them, thinking that it is a dream and nothing else. She sat down on the glass floor, her eyes till on the broken pieces of USB. The project on which she had been working for ages, on which she had spent her sleepless nights on was gone...it was no more. All her hard work was gone..all the work on which she had spent her life now was now broken into pieces.
Everything was too much for her, her emotions were everywhere. When she finally realized her loss, tears came in her eyes.
Lucus was inhaling and exhaling deeply but when he saw his wife in the most vulnerable state he had ever seen, he then realized what he had done. But no matter what he did now, none could compensate her loss.
He then realized what kind of an idiot he actually is for being jealous of his own wife. A wife who did everything for him, more then he ever asked for and when his time came this is what he did to her? He let those insignificant people rule his brain and made him doubt his wife.
He knew very well he ruined their relationship and that it could never go back to normal again.
