°The one with
the decision

           David looked at his hands as he began to give lily the explanation she should've had three weeks ago— he took a deep breath before opening his mouth and started explaining

the alvarez girl remained quiet the entire time, not wanting to interrupt david but also because she did know what to say or reply to him so she stayed silent as the dobrik boy poured out his heart to lily alvares.

"You gotta understand that i didn't mean to say any of that— i mean i did but i didn't mean it like that" he spoke and after seeing that lily was making no effort to talk he continued

"you caught me off guard so i panicked and got scared and i stupidly spewe'd out words without even thinking—" david has never been the type of person to express his emotions and explain his feelings like that but when it comes to lily somehow he finds himself doing things he never thought he would

the dobrik boy took a deep breath to speak again when lily finally intervened and said something "why did you get scared? because i wanted people to know about our relationship?" she asked furrowing her brows

"no— no— it's really difficult to explain lily"

"that's why you came here right?"

david nodded and ruffled his hair "okay— it's just— what we have the past four/five months have been... crazy amazing— no that's not even good enough to describe it but lily i have had the best years of my life in the past five years but somehow when you became my girlfriend those five years have nothing against the five months that we had— i was ecstatic, happy, on cloud nine whatever you want to describe it— i'm so crazy in love with you and our relationship and I was so happy because things were going so smoothly and part of me believed that it's like that because it's only us in our relationship— no fans no people judging our every move no one acting as if they're a part of our relationship..."

"...So when you said you wanted people to know about us i got scared because i was worried the fans wouldn't like it and they would start hating on you and bashing you and i didn't want that— and i was also terrified that when the hate gets too much for us you wouldn't be able to handle it and you'd—" the dobrik boy drifted off at the end of his sentence and avoided eye contact with lily

"i'd what?" lily asked so low in sounded like a whisper

"you'd break up with me..." he said feeling the tears in his eyes which he immediately wiped before the alvares girl could even see them

the dobrik boy collected himself before continuing "but i know that it was selfish of me to want that because i know there are times wherein you get jealous and insecure— which is kind of dumb because you are the most ethereal girl in the world and they should be the one insecure about you"

david grabbed lily's hands and stared deeply into her eyes "i love you lily, please always remember that— no matter what happens i would always be here for you and no matter what your decision may be i would be here to support it"

lily felt the hot betraying tears cascading down her face as she looked into david's eyes and when david spotted the tears rolling down lily's face he immediately wiped them and held her face in his hands "don't cry, i know you look beautiful when you cry but you look even more beautiful if you don't"
