Prologue

2012. Buildings burning to the ground. People screaming out of fright. Tsunamis crashing into land. Meteor showers slamming in to the ground. Tornadoes are ripping up the earth. The earth is dying, or more importantly Gaia is dying. In her last attempt to save her people, she uses the last of her energy to stop all the catastrophes. Gaia glows. The whole earth is covered in a bright white light that can be seen from every corner of the universe. The bright glow soon diminishes, and you hear mourning’s. Everyone and everything that is left alive is spilling tears for Gaia. They know she’s gone, dead, never to return. She sacrificed herself for the people of her planet, but who exactly is Gaia? Or should we ask what is she?

Chapter one- Zoi

Its now 2022. Ten years have passed since that incident. The earth once a beautiful oasis, now a land covered in sand and despair. There are still some living things on this planet, a population of 300 humans, 1,000 animals of all sorts, 5,624 trees and shrubs, and finally 11 major lakes. A total of 6,935 living things left on the planet. The earth has restored itself to its original form, Pangaea. All the continents have come together again to form the original earth, but without dinosaurs and caveman. The population of the earth is spread out, but they stay close afraid if separated to far apart then they will never find each other again. They barely hang on. For the world has lost so much, friends, family, nature, and most importantly hope. Hope has fallen from the hearts of the people. They live as corpses, soulless. Except for two young twins. They’re identical twins, look exactly the same from head to toe, except ones a girl her name is Zoi, and her brother is Kibo. Their skin is pale white, with short tan hair, and eyes so blue you can see fish in them. They’re only ten years old born right after the catastrophe, with no knowledge of any family. So they travel the world hoping to be able to help the habitants of the planet. “Hey, sis! I see a village!” Shouted Kibo. From the fairly large orange tree he was hanging from.

“Great! How far do you think it is!?” I shout back.

“About one kilometer.”

“So we should be there within an hour.” I say more to myself then to my older brother. I gaze at the scenery. The people look so small. They look like cockroaches. I notice that there’s a lake near the tribe. “Kibo,” I shout, “there’s a lake near the tribe!” My brother scans the land to see the lake, and when he dose he gets such an excited look on his face he starts to run down the hill.
