At this point Stokeley was fuming. He didn't understand why the younger boy didn't care about the situation unfolding before him.

Stokeley was playing with Jahseh and somehow he picked up his phone. Jahseh freaked out and begged to give him it back.

now Stokeley had never been cheated on but he picked up some things from his older brother, Jarad, who seemed to keep getting cheated on so he knew the signs. of course stokeley was anxious and wanted to look through his phone but Jahseh quickly grabbed it back, leaving Stokeley even more curious.

"Jahseh. you've got 10 seconds to tell me why i cant see yo phone." Stokeley said immediately dropping his voice low and closing his eyes

Jahseh thought Stokeley was starting to calm down. he was quickly proven wrong.

"BRUH IM NOT FUCKIN PLAYIN! TELL ME WHY!" Stokeley said screaming at a scared Jahseh ,who was cornered by Stokeley so he couldn't run.

"I-I um." Jahseh barely spoke

"Speak the fuck up." Stokeley growled at him

"It's not that easy..." Jahseh said barely above a whisper.

"I guess i'll just figure it out then." Stokeley said snatching Jah's phone, and this time Jahseh didnt snatch it back, because he knew Stokeley would have to figure out eventually.

Stokeley spent no time on going straight to his messages. he looked at the most recent contact he texted. it was only Symere but stoke knew that him and Symere were best friends, and it was most likely whatever he was hiding he told Symere.

Stokeley couldnt believe what he just read. he was gonna be a father. He felt terrible for yelling at Jahseh. He finally realized all the symptoms. Jah hated the smell of basically everything, the last two times they went out he didnt drink or smoke, and hes been sadder than usual lately. He didnt even know what to think.

"Is it true?" Stokeley asked emotionless

Jahseh just nodded still afraid to look up or talk. He just fiddled with his nails until Stokeley grabbed his hands taking his attention.

"I'm fr gonna be a dad?" Stokeley said with tears in his eyes

"Yeah, I know you're not ready and I'm sorry but-" Jahseh started sadly but got cut off.

"Don't apologize! We're gonna be just fine." Stokeley blurted out, caressing Jah's cheek.

Stokeley took Jah's hand and led him to their bedroom. he let Jah lay down and get comfortable so he could lay across him.

He gently laid his head on his lower abdomen to deepen the connection with his offspring. Jah couldn't make out everything being said because Stokeley had his face mashed against Jah's stomach. All he could hear was mumbles and feel the vibration going through his body. He finally snapped out of his trance to listen.

"....-and daddys gonna be out here fightin niggas or bitches for you. Wait! Scratch that no relationships. Ion care if you fifty its not happening. You gon be the most poppin kid in school. Finna have you in designer dresses and shit because you're obviously a girl. And-" Stokeley said completely focused

"Aye nigga watch out! I'm NOT tryna have no girl." Jah said smiling

"And why not?" Stokeley said in a funny voice

"Because girls are emotional, expensive, and sneaky. She not finna be hiding shit from me." Jah spoke in a matter-of-fact tone

"Jah baby... you just described yourself..." Stokeley said trying not to laugh

"Whatever nigga." Jah said sighing

And thats how they stayed. Stokeley fell asleep with his head on Jahseh's stomach and the twos once broken hearts seemed to be mended. At least for now...
