°The one with the
golden birthday

pt. i

                     As july 23rd rolled around it was david's birthday again so that means another bomb ass vlog squad party was on it's way and just like last year they plan to throw one big party for both david and lily. 

A lot has happened since their 22nd birthday and for the alvares girl it has been one heck of a roller coaster ride— this time last year she wasn't even aware yet of the feelings she was starting to develop for the dobrik boy but now she can't even remember what her life was like before she fell in love with david— he was her anchor keeping her grounded, her constant in this fast paced changing world.

for david and lily they might not be each other's first love but they sure as hell will try to make each other their last.

In the afternoon lily along with corinna and natalie were buying outfits for tonight's party and although the two were not telling lily much about the party later they still guided her in picking a dress

"does david already have an outfit?" corinna asked the alvares girl who's skimming through an array of gold dresses

lily shrugged "he told me to just buy him whatever but i asked jason to do it since he and todd are buying too"

corinna nodded with a humm "you know if i didn't know you and didn't know that you and david are dating i would think that you're the assistant along with natalie" she chuckled— lily laughed "yeah well im all in one"

"he's really lucky to have you— out of everyone in the friend group i've known david the longest well besides nat and dom but you know i've genuinely never seen that boy as happy as he is now" corinna smiled towards lily who visibly blushed because of corinna's words

A few moments later natalie held up a beautiful tube gold dress to lily that the girl immediately fell in love with— they all tried on their respective dresses then bought it and went home and by home i mean david's house

When lily arrived at the dobrik boy's house david was nowhere to be seen and the only person there was joe and when lily asked the vulpis boy about david and other's where abouts joe replied with "went out to vlog" — lily shrugged and went to david's room and natalie and corinna stayed in the living room. Unlike last year lily wasn't really stressing about what gift to give to the dobrik boy for the both of them have made a deal of not giving each other gifts

which lily was more than happy to agree on

There was still a few hours before the party and since the alvares girl didn't get enough sleep last night due to her finishing tons of videos and photoshoots so she could properly celebrate david's birthday schedule free she decided to lay down on david's bed and try to take a nap— closing her eyes and pulling the covers closer to her chin she felt her body get heavier as she drifted into slumber—over on the other side of the house david entered the front door of his house and took of his shoes as he asked natalie who was passing by where the alvares girl was

"in your room i think" answered the assistant then headed to the back yard area where the others was david thanked natalie then made his way towards his room

as he carefully opened the door he looked over to the side to see his girlfriend peacefully sleeping in his bed looking like an angel he thought— he slowly walked over to lily's side and removed the glasses sitting on her face then placed sa soft kiss on her forhead
