This fight was going downhill at an alarming rate. Ever since that idiot star-whatever his name was lost his cool, it was getting worse and worse. The guardians were now out of commission, and the kid was off saving them. Strange was doing who knows what, leaving tony to fight the titan. Great, just great.

"Stark." He spat, as I shot at him from my blasters. He dodged easily, absorbing more power somehow, sending rocks hurtling towards him.

"You know me?" I replied, attacking him again. Distantly I heard peter landing, and I knew he had finished getting the guardians.

"I do. You're not the only one cursed with knowledge." I snarled at him.

"My only curse is you" I shot at him some more, failing again. I heard foot steps coming up behind me, and peter was then by my side. He looked at me inquiringly, waiting for me to say or do something.

"Mr stark? What do we do now?" He whispered. He looked awfully like a frightened kid who had lost there mum in the supermarket, asking an attendant where to go and keep a straight face to not cry out.

"Oh I get it." Thanos's voice rang out. He looked at peter, than at me. "You care for it don't you stark." He gave a smirk.

"What? No."

"You do. I see it the way you look at him, the way a father looks upon their young." Peter shuddered as thanos was talking, and I subconsciously took a protective step towards him, earning another smile from the titan. Not being able to handle any more of the conversation, I shot again, waging battle. Peter came around the perimeter, shooting webs when he could. He seemed to be muttering something under his breath, probably talking to karen. The purple giant snarled, pushing his hands down then bringing them up, a purple glow enveloping his hands. I knew what was coming, so I braced myself, Peter doing the same.

A rumbling came from the surface of the planet, rocks beginning to shake. We looked around, then, showers of rocks came down from the sky. Peter and I jumped out of the way, my flying around them and peter using his spider sense to dodge the falling space rocks. He gave a yelp when a particularly large one nearly crushed him, but he diverted his attention towards me.

All of a sudden he shot a web at my suit, the sticky substance attaching, and gave a heave, pulling me towards him. I was quite startled, not moving from the sudden gesture, and I let myself be pulled. once I reached him a loud crashing sound came, and the moon was smashing down on where I was before.

"Thanks kid"

"No problem Mr star- aHHrk" he yelped, and I gasped. The titan has used his distracted state as a diversion. Peter was now struggling, thanos's giant fist around his neck and lifting him in the air.

"NO!" I yelled, flying towards him.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." He began to clench his fist slightly, peter letting out a yelp. He couldn't breathe.

"Please, don't do that" my voice cracked. I cringed with how childish I sounded, but this was different. This was peter. The giant only chuckled.

"You should know by know what happens when you get too close to things stark." Peters struggling legs slowed and his movements grew sluggish, the hands he was using to try pry off thanos fell limp by his side. He let out a strangled cry that sounded like my name.

"Mis'r sar?" He slurred, whimpering.

"Please, I'll do anything." The words left my mouth before I even realised. Thanos smiled, and he knew he got what he wanted. He loosened the grip on peter slightly, so the spider could breath.
