Two hearts drift apart. Love is unmistakeably cruel. Nervous of commitment, scared of the unknown future, and unsure how to communicate about love, two fearfully passionate lovers give up on each other.

The world as they know it is over. The news anchors are hiding their tear-stained cheeks. The radio hosts are getting choked up live on air, sobs threatening to escape from their dry mouths. Cars are zooming through late-day traffic to arrive home to their loved ones.

They say the world is ending. Astronauts and trained military personnel are prepared to be sent to space. Some are investigating the bright lights heading straight for Earth. There is little to no chance that they will come back alive, and a lesser chance that the world can be saved.

The world is over, and yet their hearts are still connected.

Love is unmistakeably cruel.

But when they've already made one terrible mistake, will they be able to make up for it before it's too late?
