Nadia has been stuck inside the mountain for years, hiding in plain sight, within a family of rebellion supporters. While deceiving the Mountain Men, is a piece of cake—or so she thinks—it's become progressively harder to conceal the true color of her blood.
But when Nadia wakes up one day, only to come face to face with one of the 48, she realizes that maybe it's time she stops running from her past, and finally gets the hell out of that damned mountain. But in order to escape, to get home, she might have risk more than she's willing too.
And it's common knowledge, that no-one escapes the crossfire of war without battle scars, her's just might be deadlier than most.
