Protogens are a species from the furry fandom made by the FurAffinity user Malice-risu. she originally made the species Primagens as a closed species and hers was originally going to be the only one. But people wanted their own so she started doing adoptions for them and she made the open species Protogens. Protogens are limited as to what features they can have. In-universe: Protogens are a cybernetic species of aliens that are 40% mechanical and exhibit mammal behaviorisms. they have a short rounded visor that can open and close, as well as a chest plate and big leg armor as well as modular limbs and a biological digestive system.
