"Hey! The guys and I are arriving at our hotel, I'm gonna head over just me in about twenty minutes, so we can have some time to ourselves." Jonah said over the phone.
"Oh, oh yeah cool. I can't wait to see you." I said.
"I can't wait to see you either." I could feel Jonah smiling over the phone, "I'll see you later."
"Yeah, bye," I said.
"Bye." Still no 'I love you'. Shame. I guess I would never hear it from him. I looked at myself in the mirror. God, this was going to be hard. Harder than leaving Jonah, harder than leaving my mum, harder than saying 'I love you' to a boy it should be easy to say it to.
I didn't know what to do with myself until he arrived, I told myself I should busy myself but I could barely pick up my phone without my violently shaking hands dropping it. So, I just gazed over New York, as I did maybe too often until I got a call from the front desk.
"Jonah's here, should I send him up?" The woman asked. I took a deep breath.
"Yeah." I nodded, "Send him up." I hung up and continued to stare aimlessly at the tall buildings, and that's when the elevator pinged.
"Hey, gorgeous! I miss you so muc-," Jonah stopped himself when I turned around. My face flushed red and so did his. "I... you're..."
"Yeah." My eyes filled with tears, "Yeah, I'm pregnant."
