A small stream of light lit a big open room, the room was very open but cosy.
It had a double poster bed with long silver vales hanging down from it.
The room also had two bedside tables on either side of the bed, a big bookcase and a big window with an amazing view of a lake next to their huge garden.
In the big bed lay a girl with long black hair and pale skin. She opens her dark green emerald eyes sleepily and thought, "I can't be bothered to get up".
At that exact moment her door opened to reveal a tall thin man with black hair and dark blue eyes, he was wearing a warm smile.
"Morning Esmerelda" He said in a gentle voice.
"I wanna go back to bed" said Esmerelda's muffled voice from under the covers.
"It's your birthday!, come on get up lazy" said Seb smiling at his shocked daughter.
At Seb's words Esmerelda leaped out her bed, ran past her father in her PJ's and rushed down the long staircase behind her door.
