I fight the terror of sleep

That was old from the beginning of existence,
Who banished faulty human senses
From his form."

Who seems so tall,
As the sun's last rays
Deceive my ailing eyes?"
My aching head spins
As my lost glasses taunt me

Who's form deceives the sunlight's rays,
Who is tall for reason none,
Other than this is the form I take."

Why have I been chosen
When there are others more deserving
Of such a fate?"
