Perhaps he was too obsessed with that maniac.

Patricia or Trish (as she adapted that nickname)-- his sister-- did cut ties with him because she thought that he had gone completely insane on calling to her that one night and insisted that Jason, the Jason Voorhees, was still alive despite he and his sister had killed that murdering maniac many years ago when they were still young.

Thomas (or rather, Tommy as he preferred to be called) was immensely hurt when he heard his sister screaming at him to stop of "all the nonsense" he frantically spoke to her on the phone that night. Trish sounded so furious and also exhausted when she finished screaming at him. The young woman had tried to change her little brother's mind to get more help from his psychological problem. Trish begged her brother on the phone to get much needed help but to her absolutely dismay, Tommy was still the stubborn little boy she once knew.

Tommy disregarded his sisters pleas to get help, still insisting that Jason was alive again. And with that, she wouldn't listened to him and hang up when he tried to explain that Jason was back.

That happened many days ago. And Tommy grew each day being more anxious and saddened from after that last conversation of his to his sister.

Blond hair already a mess as underneath those blue eyes of his had eyebags. Not just small one but large ones. Insisting that the young man had not gotten a much good night sleep for so long.

But how can he though?

Tommy Jarvis can not sleep in peace for days as he circled the whole town. Being more alert than ever in his life as he recalled what happened many nights ago.

There was a reason why Tommy Jarvis insisted to his sister that Jason was back and grew frustrated when she did not believe him. A very good reason it was.

Tommy Jarvis, after all, saw how Jason came back.

Due to his disdain to the law or more accurately: the sheriffs and detectives. Tommy absolutely hated them from not believing his story that Jason killed his mother and he managed to trick the murdering psychopath and killing him when he was twelve. The detective getting annoyed with all the "Jason" claims and dismisses the younger version of Tommy and that he was in shock and came up something to cope up.

Tommy's disdain grew with what happened just a few days prior and telling a sheriff that Jason was back alive as he had witnessed in his very own eyes when he went to check out and digged up Jason Voorhees body to cremate the corpse only to have horrid flashbacks of the night he killed Jason and stabbed the corpse many times by a rod he grabbed.

Perhaps it was karma that he could not save his mother in time, or perhaps the world was just finding his pain hilarious as the metal rod he stabbed Jason's corpse many time was hit with lightning and the person-- or rather, the monster that haunts his nightmares came back to life and saw Allen Hawes (the one who accompanied him to the cemetery) get killed. Tommy was lucky to escape that night and came to the sheriff to tell everything; only to be locked because he was apparently "insane" and "mentally unstable". But he was thankfully escorted out after a few days.

Those few days in a cell though made Tommy anxious as he fully know it was a matter of time before the murders of Jason would occur. But so far, it was quiet. Too quiet for the young man's liking as he continue to drive silently on the road. Patrolling the town lately to make sure to either catch Jason before that maniac starts kills or stop a bloodshed from happening more bloodier.

The young man let out a sigh. His hands clutching the steering of his car tightly as his blue eyes would often drift from the road to the rectangular box-like device on the passenger seat beside him. A CB radio is what the device is called and Tommy had it on just in case he'll get a transmission on some thing, any thing. But like the other nights he patrols, nothing. The radio didn't crackle to life and tell the young man on any news.

After an hour of circling, the blond decided to stop at sideway of the road. The young man seemed to thought that a break wouldn't hurt.

Tommy closed his eyes and he gently placed his head on the steering wheel. He was tired. Absolutely tired.

Tommy wanted to doze off, perhaps maybe thirty minutes to an hour before he goes back to circling the area and try to hunt Jason down. The young man liked that idea as he was about to doze off into a sleep..

Until a static cackle of sound beside him made the young man jumped a bit from his seat.

Tommy did not expect anything at all as his blue eyes snapped wide and frantically looked around his car until he saw the rectangular box device he had on his passenger seat.

The device cackled to life as it transmitted some thing that made Tommy's stomach face the dread of a mixture of absolutely horror and guilt.

"Hello? Hello!" The person on the opposite side of the radio had called out. Their voice seemed to be a female but what had gotten Tommy's attention was the absolutely terror and shakiness of her voice was.

"Oh God-- help us! Jason's real! Please help us!" The female on the other line screamed as she sobbed  "Help! Help! Please-- some one!"

When he heard those panicked words from the CB radio he had put on his car, Tommy felt the world stopped for a second or so.

"Fuck," Tommy had cursed as he hurriedly took out the map of the area he was in, the only thing near him was Camp Crystal Lake.

Camp Crystal Lake, of-fucking-course! Tommy cursed at himself for not thinking of Jason coming back to the place where he drowned when he was a child. Of course that maniac would come back to a place familiar to him and of course the camp had to be renewed and be in working condition again!

And with that location in mind, Rommy immediately started his car back to life and slammed his feet on the gas pedal; hurriedly driving to that area as quickly as he can. Hoping that the person who transmitted that panicked message was still alive as he get there.

"Fuck, please stay be alive!"
