myong eunjo's death was an accident. a mere mistake of her footwork. the death was ruled out as something that came down to eunjo's own fault, but never a suicide — and definitely never a murder.

the body had been found two weeks after christmas — floating beside what remained of the ice sheet that once lay strong upon the town's lake. surrounded by trees, and left barren during the winter ; who could've known to look there?

lips blue, and ice coating her eyelashes, tears frozen upon her once rosy cheeks — myong eunjo's death was not an accident.

SHEET OF ICE looked up, watching the classroom door open as the headmaster walked in, accompanied by a new student. no one around her realised, too engrossed with their own affairs.

she placed her pen down, meeting eyes with the new girl, and a gasp left her mouth. the same eyes. SHEET OF ICE's hand shot out, poking kang taehyun, who was sat beside her.

the boy looked towards the frightened girl, furrowing his eyebrows before following the direction of the way her finger was pointing.

taehyun's eyes widened in recognition, before kicking the chair in front of him.

FROZEN DEW immediately span around, confusion etched upon her face, with slight annoyance in her eyes.

seeing the expression on the pair's faces, the girl turned back to look towards the door, and her shoulders were immediately filled with tension — turning rigid.

noticing the way her desk partner's demeanour had changed, ROSY CHEEKS looked towards the girl, concern swimming in her eyes, before hearing the headmaster leaving the classroom once more, and noticed the girl stood at the front.

a sharp intake of breath came from the girl, as her hand shot up, in order to be excused. as ROSY CHEEKS stood, she dropped a piece of paper upon the desk of beomgyu and kai, where soobin was stood in an attempt to help the younger two.

the three boys' eyes watched the girl leave the room, until they focused on the sheet of paper placed in front of them.

beomgyu looked towards the girl, and looked back towards kai, meeting eyes; whilst a mere curse fell from soobin's mouth.

the curse caught the attention of WAITING FOR SPRING, resulting in the girl raising an eyebrow towards the three boys. kai nodded his head in the direction of where the teacher was stood speaking to the new girl.

WAITING FOR SPRING's heart dropped, the girl visibly slouching in her chair, as beomgyu was scrunching up the paper left by ROSY CHEEKS, and throwing it at yeonjun's head of messed hair.

the blue-haired boy didn't realise, being too busy in a tug of war fight with AN EVERGREEN'S PINE, playful smiles on their faces.

a sharp elbow jabbed AN EVERGREEN'S PINE's side as ROSY CHEEKS returned. the older girl, with a final tug, nearly fell from her chair; a triumphant smile on her face, the ruler clutched in her hands, before realising the silence of the boy beside her.

the girl looked to the boy, seeing him looking in a completely different direction, and placed the ruler on the table as she followed the direction of his eyes.

myong eunjo. stood beside their form teacher's desk. alive and well. and not dead.
