°The one where david
meets the alvares family

                 The dobrik boy wiped his sweaty palms against his black bomber jacket as he and his girlfriend stood in front of the front door of lily's childhood home aka the home where her entire family is currently at— that thought alone made the boy incredible nervous for he has heard stories about lily's older brothers and dad and from what he has heard they were way scarier than sara alvares— aka lily's scary filipina mother. 

"would you calm down, you're gonna be fine dave" lily reassured her sweating boyfriend

david waved his fingers against his hair and took a deep breath "okay yeah i got this i've faced things way scarier than this—"

"good pep talk babe" lily said about to knock on the front door when the dobrik boy suddenly yanked lily's arm away from the wooden door.

The alvares girl glared at her boyfriend and arched her brows "david.."

"i know! i know im sorry im just really nervous— you have a big family, i don't think i can face that many people.." he muttered tugging the ends of lily's jacket like a scared child

but lily merely bat an eyelash at her boyfriend "dave, you have literally hosted an award show before that was broadcasted all over the world and not to mention own a channel with over 12 million subscribers, you're telling me you're afraid of meeting 8 new people?"

david took a deep breath once more and nodded at her girlfriend— once seeing the boy all calmed down lily gave her boyfriend a warm smile then grabbed his hand into hers safely and knocked against the front door.

The couple was greeted by the familiar face of mary anne which david was extremely thankful for— they all greeted each other as mary anne guided the couple into the living room after screaming for the rest of the family about lily and david's arrival. Once entering the spacious and warm living room— david saw a way older man who he could immediately tell was lily's father and another much younger man but not younger than lily sitting on the couch

the oldest of the man stood up and opened his arms "lilian! my sweet girl come here!" david was stunned to hear the deep voice of lily's father and as lily let go of david's hands to go and embrace her father her position was now filled by the other man david saw

"hey"

the dobrik boy tried his best to hide the fact that he was nervous so he slightly shook his head and smiled politely at what he assumed was one of lily's brother "hey man uh pleasure to meet you im david—"

"oh you're that dave kid that lil's been talking about, nice to meet you man im aiden" the older alvares boy greeted

"yeah im he— david i mean"

mason chuckled seeing the obviously nervous david and tried to play into it more "so how long have you been dating my sister derek?"

"it's uh david but me and lil have been dating for almost 8 months now.."

"wow, what are your plans for—"

"aiden stop trying to scare of my boyfriend again" lily interrupted the two once again joining the dobrik boy's side, lily felt david relax and breathe as she once again held onto his hand which kind of made her feel guilty for leaving his side for a couple minutes
