Among the crowd of students
in the summer sun
was the hoodie girl
who hated everyone.

Covering her face with the hood,
she didn't care about the heat
she crossed all the hallways,
just looking at her feet.

Everybody blamed her, they bullied her
just for the few seconds of the fun they had,
but they didn't know that,
she was just holding back.

She was holding back
an urge to fight,
to slaughter everyone
by putting all her might.

She was just holding back
her sad tears
after all, there was no one to comfort her
all these years.

She was holding back
her will to die,
maybe, because she wasn't yet ready
to say goodbye.

Every day nothing new happened,
the same old tales.
Everybody ignoring her agony,
her silent wails.

Her expressions were emotionless
but no one could see her face.
She hid it because, her scars
still left her dazed.

Even though her face was expressionless,
everything oozed out of her eyes filled with emotions.
Alas! Nobody stopped to discover
what lies beneath the ocean.

One day, she sat on the rooftop
with an urge to die
but somehow, something
kept her by.

She looked to her side
finding herself lost in the dark brown eyes
which at that time,
felt like a blessing in disguise.
