Just Some Texts

First

I wrote this one in English class, hope you'll like it! ( If I made some mistakes, please correct me, I'm french and I want to get my English better )

When I first opened my eyes, everything was dark.
I couldn't see a thing. It was like every single person, animal, object, in the entire universe was gone, except me.
I was the only human that still existed, I didn't know why, or how, but I existed. I'd been trying to find something or someone else for about few weeks, but I couldn't find a single thing, a single person.

After a while, I started seeing things, but then, those things just disappeared. I thought I was going to lose my mind. I didn't know how long I could handle this. I was going to die if I didn't find anyone soon.

Finally, one day, I found a sort of gateway, and, without a second thought, I jumped in it, and, when I opened my eyes again, I was home.
Everything was normal, but, it was 8:30 a.m.

This is why I'm late today.
