"And stay out!" Melanie's mother screamed. The sound of the a slamming door echoed in her ear and the heartbeat in her head would not stop. Melanie's mother was a psycho drug addict who abused Melanie. It was a horrific time that broke her in pieces. Her mother was very hard to read by her facial expressions.You were constantly walking on eggshells around her. Melanie was in this moment a young girl... now homeless.
        She skimmed the streets which inhabited a sea of rushing civilians. Women and men. Black and white. Poor and rich. Children of all ages. But she never crossed their minds. Her mother never let her be educated so she knew no one.  All alone.
She slumped herself against a corner shop window and cried. Her tears were knives that cut her cheeks as they swiftly ran down them. Her clothes were tattered and her shoes were worn. She had no where to go. All of a sudden, a young intelligent lady knelt down to talk to her, "Hey, Your lost are you? Well come with me so you can keep warm." They walked in hand to her home. Regally decorated and fit for a young girl.
