The first page of Homestuck was put up on the website mspaintadventures.com on April, 13, 2009. Hence the importance of the number "413" to the Homestuck fandom (Also known as Homestucks, or Homestuckers). The very first page introduces our very first character, John Egbert, who is also considered by many the main character.

John's "joke name" ( a name given to the four Beta Kids before giving their actual name) is ZOOSMELL POOPLORD. You enter the webcomic on John's birthday, 4/13/09, he has just turned 13 (Next 4/13 he's going to be 18 *wipes a tear away*).
