what if my skin wasn't soft and thin,
and my flesh ever so flavorless. and i hadn't moved my ribs, bending and cracking at your very will to fit the mold you had in store for me. would you have finally loved me ? my ribs opening forcefully to reveal my heart wrapped in guage, would you have taken the time to care ? can't you see, you are tearing me apart, and that no matter how many times i break myself, i would never be good enough for you. and that's okay, for i realize no man should break me like you did ever again.
