Today was the day thought Aiko~Cun Today is the day he would tell Asuna (his childhood friend) how he truly felt about her. "thanks for the ride mom... I-i love you!" Aiko~Cun could barley speak... He wasn't prepared. What if she had met someone and just kept it a secret from him?"Hey... Aiko?" His mom had got out of the car, not that Aiko~Cun had gone to far away from it. He knew Asuna was always at school earlier then him. "She does love you." She hugged him and before he reacted she got back into the car, he gave off a little smile and showed a bit more confidence. He  ran into the school right into a new guy (he supposed) "ah.. sorry sir." Aiko~Cun spoke softly. "Wow. Very unprofessional. I'm new which is somewhat obvious. I'm Atsushi" Atsushi was taller then Aiko, but he seemed like a softie... Kind of. Then she walked in the lobby from the auditorium, talking with one of her friends, her pink hair, blue eyes, beautiful smile... Asuna. "Ah! Hey Asuna!" The new guy (Atsushi) said. How did he already know her? "O-oh Atsushi!" She blushed... But why? "I-im a little busy but we can talk at lunch!" She gave off the prettiest smile. Aiko waved but she completely ignored him. "How does it feel to be ignored shorty?" Atsushi chuckled at Aiko~Cun and grasped harder onto his backpack, slinging it onto his shoulder and walked slowly away, obviously trying to prove a point. Aiko ran to the bathroom and stared at himself in a mirror Of course she liked him... He was tall, handsome, cute, he had red hair and brown eyes. The whole package. All I had was blue eyes, black hair, I was short and pretty sure Asuna was taller then me. "hey you good...?" Aiko's friend Otordoko came in, he looked like me, just blonde hair and more pale skin. "It's really not important" I couldn't tell my only friend about my crush. He's rather popular and the little reputation I had would be gone. Forever. He can NOT keep secrets. "C'mon! I know when my bestie is upset" in reality Otordoko had NO idea when I am upset, he is way full of himself. But he tries his best. "I just came in here because I was uh... Bored before homeroom." I was thinking of any excuse, the one that came out wasn't very expected. I had so many things I could've said . "My dog just died and I got the news" "I'm waiting for my dealer" no... No that's to much. "Oh... Alright man. See ya at math" he winked... Well tried to. Aiko~Cun looked down and finally looked outside the bathroom being sure that Atsushi wasn't there and thank goodness he wasn't .  He looked at the bell and realized he had missed homeroom and first period had already started, he ran upstairs to his class through the senior stairs, Aiko~Cun was a Junior. He finally made it, a tad bit after the late bell, some people asked him where he was but he only ignored them, he was going to sit next to Asuna when... "What do you think your doing shorty?" Atsushi placed his stuff at the desk before he had the chance "off you go." Atsushi sat down and smiled at Asuna, she smiled  back "oh hey Aiko~Cun! Sorry but senpai~ is sitting here today!" Aiko paused "S-senpai?" He asked, trying not to sound to worried. "Oh Aiko~Cun, that's what Atsushi said he was called back at his old school! We want him to feel welcome!" Asuna gave a warm smile to both Aiko and Atsushi. "Mr. Sjyah. Please take a seat in the front" the teacher scolded
Aiko. He quickly got up to the front and sat down, and couldn't even focus on the lesson... Does Asuna know what "senpai" means. I mean isn't her friend like a huge fan of yandere? "Mr. Sjyah . " The teacher said. "O-oh uh, yes?" Aiko said softly. "Answer the question please." Aiko paused "can you uh.. repeat the question..?" The whole class laughed, Asuna was the only one who didn't. Thank God. There was still hope! Lunch time came around and Aiko quickly ran up to Asuna while leaving his locker, "Asuna... Can we sit together at lunch... Like we do EVERYDAY?" Aiko said, giving off a small angry face. "O-oh Aiko! Of course we can. But Atsushi has to sit with us, he is so nice!" Asuna was nice to everyone so it was no surprise she was acting this way towards Atsushi. "Gosh... what do you see in Atsushi, he's rude to me." Aiko said in a "I'm loosing hope" type of way. "Maybe he is just jealous of our friendship? I always see the good in people and he has a good side. I know it" Asuna said with a smile. "Hey Asuna... And Aiko..." Atsushi came running up to them with his lunch just as they sat down. Aiko stayed silent. Eventually, Atsushi realized that Asuna didn't have a lunch "here... Asuna let me go grab you a lunch. On me. It's the best way I can repay you for being so nice to me!" Atsushi put out his hand and Asuna grabbed it smiling and blushing, they ran off to the line, leaving Aiko all alone. I've lost all hope, thought Aiko, sitting down. He finally decided that he had lost his appetite and just sat down, not speaking at all during lunch. Otordoko came to math class (7th period) with a guy... Who was in his math class but Aiko never really noticed him, after all both were very quiet. His name was Ocho, he had dirty blond hair and green eyes, and was a rather tall guy. "Aiko!" Said Otordoko in an excited way, he was holding Ocho's hand. "Meet my boyfriend! Ocho!" Otordoko smiled as he kissed ocho's cheek. Great. Thought Aiko everyone except him were casually finding their soulmates. HOW CASUAL. "Yeah... So happy for you." Aiko put on a fake smile. "We've been chatting for the past 3 months! And we are both gay, which is something we found out like, last week!" Of course Otordoko had a boyfriend, he was a charm. "He's so precious! You are so lucky to have such a great friend!" Ocho said. Aiko got some bad vibes off of Ocho, but what did he know about relationships, maybe that's just people acted in relationships? Aiko~Cun sat down, away from Ocho and Otordoko. He couldn't deal with their sweet talk "you are so amazing!" "No you are the cute one" "I can't wait till we are married". Stuff like that made him think about how he didn't have a girlfriend. Aiko just didn't understand what Asuna saw in Atsushi, besides his looks, he was one big goofball. He probably doesn't even know his left from right, and Asuna had been Aiko's friend since like kindergarten! Then the end of the day... Probably the best part. Aiko waited for Asuna outside, it was now or never. She finally left the building with Atsushi by her side. "Asuna!" Yelled Aiko, he ran up to them. "Can we talk privately...?" He paused waiting for Asuna to respond. "Oh Aiko! I would but I'm going to get icecream and see a movie with Atsushi~Cun" Asuna said. Wait wait, what?!? But that's what we used to do! And I was Aiko~Cun, he wasn't Atsushi~Cun. Aiko couldn't hold it in anymore, he sobbed quietly. "Aiko?! What's wrong?" Asuna said reaching out to him, but Aiko just pulled away. "Everything! Everything is wrong" Aiko pushed her away. "What a terrible friend you are Aiko" Atsushi said, taking Asuna and holding her close. "No! Atsushi you are the problem." Aiko grasped onto his backpack tightly and ran off towards his bus, almost missing it.
