"Louis stop!" I squealed as he tickled me. "Please I can't breathe." I laughed more and more smacking at him trying to get him to stop tickling me.

"Never!" He laughed and continued tickling me until the baby monitor went off.

"Dada." Freddie whined through the baby monitor.

"You better get that." I replied as Louis stopped tickling me. I kissed his hand and smiled.

"I'll get back to you on where we left off." Louis winked and walked into Freddie's room.

It was hard for me sometimes. Knowing that Freddie wasn't my kid. That Louis has someone else and actually had a kid with her, but I tried not to think about it. Rather I loved Freddie as my own. I took care of him, clothed him, fed him anything any mother would. Well except for his real mother.  The first few years she loved Freddie and took care of him but then about eight months ago she found someone. She fell in love but he didn't want Freddie. So she left him to Louis and well me.

"What wrong little buddy?" Louis said as he walked back into the living room where I was.

"Hungry, dada." Freddie smiled at him and then smiled at me as they sat down on the couch.

"Ok buddy I'll get you a banana , as dinner will be not to far from now. So we don't want to spoil your dinner." I smiled at him and got up from the couch and went into the kitchen. Once I got into the kitchen I found a banana for Freddie. I began peeling it and cutting into little slices for him. It was his favorite way to have a banana. He refused to eat it any other way. Which was completely ok with me. Louis says I baby him a little too much by doing it this way, and maybe I do but I just believe a kid shouldn't have to grow up before they absolutely have to.  Once I finished cutting up the banana I went into the living room where the boys where and began giving Freddie his banana.

"Thank you mommy." He said with a cute smile and I couldn't help but freeze, and it seem so did Louis. He had never called me mommy before. He usually just called me Layla, or just talk to me not really calling me anything. But now he called me mommy. I couldn't help but smile and honestly I felt like I was gonna cry. He  thought of me as his mom?

"You're welcome baby." I smiled and kissed his head. I couldn't really tell what Louis was thinking during those few seconds after Freddie Calle me mommy but he smiled with my response.

Once Freddie finished his banana, I took his plate into the kitchen and began washing his plate off and putting it away.

"So mommy." Louis paused and smiled at me. "What do you think of being called that?"  I couldn't help but giggle.

"Honestly?" I looked at Louis and tilted my head to the side.

"Well obviously." Louis laughed.

"Honestly, I loved it. I love Freddie as if he's my own. And if he thinks of me as his mother that just makes me ten times happier than I was before." I smiled and put the plate away.

"Thank god." Louis let out  a big breath that I hadn't really noticed he was holding in. "I was worried it might scare you."

"Why would it scare me?" I laughed and walked over to him rubbing my hand up and  his arm.

"I don't know. It's a lot. You and I have only been dating for about a year and three months and my kid is now calling you mommy." Louis chuckled lightly.

"Nope doesn't scare me one bit. Louis I love you and Freddie both. Nothing is ever gonna scare me off." I smiled and gave him a quick short kiss before pulling away.

"I love you to Layla." He smiled and kissed my forehead.

"Mommy?" Freddie said from the living room.

"Yes baby?" I replied as I started walking towards the living room where he was.

"Can we color?" He asked looking away from the TV and looked at me.

"Sure baby." I smiled. "I'll go get the stuff." I smiled and walked past the kitchen and into Freddie's play room and grabbed the coloring books and crayons out of the shelf. As I was walking back to Freddie I overheard Louis on the phone.

"I don't know. I mean I have a family now. Things are different. Can I at least think about it?"  Louis said and I was confused,  but I continued going to Freddie and sat on the floor by the coffee table and Freddie sat on my lap.

"What do you wanna color little bud?" I asked looking through his coloring books.

"Puppies." Freddie squealed and pointed to the coloring book of dogs.

"Ok baby we'll do that one." I smiled and handed it to him letting him decide which one he wanted to color.
Once he finally decided on a page I handed him each crayon that he asked for.

"Everything ok?" I asked Louis as he came inside looking a little stressed.

"Yeah." Louis replied sighing. "We just have a decision to make and I'm not sure how you're going to feel about it."

"We?" I asked and looked up at him.

"Yeah me and you." He smiled.

"any hint on what it's about?" I asked looking back down at Freddie and handed him another crayon.

"Can we just talk about it later? Right now I just wanna enjoy you two together." He smiled and I became worried, what if someone was wanting to take Freddie from me and Louis. Suddenly I felt sick but I had to keep it in so I could keep Freddie happy.

"You ok mommy?" Freddie asked looking up at me.

"Of course baby." I smiled and kissed his head.
