This was it. At last a getaway from school, work and life. This was a chance I was getting with my friends from college and high school to get away and have a night of our lives. I begged and convinced my parents to let me use my grandparents cabin up in Canada for break. Only reason they didn't let me at first was only for the respect of my grandparents who passed away. I was only a senior in high school when that happened, never exactly knowing what caused their deaths. They were both healthy and happy as ever and the next thing I know..they're gone.
I live in the West Coast of Michigan, Pent-water. I'm driving to pick up Benjamin, Andrew and Olivia to the airport. My best friend Jenna will pick up Charlotte, Isabella and Jackson while Noah will be riding with my driver Michael up to the airport. When my grandparents retired from their jobs they got Michael as a driver to drive them around when they needed be somewhere, Michael has been like an uncle to me since I was a kid. He took me to my prom, Homecoming, concerts, plays, etc. I grew with up Jenna, Olivia, Andrew, Jackson and Noah through elementary and middle school. Benjamin and Isabella and Charlotte came into the picture during the last year middle school and we went on from there as a group of friends.
